It's weird, on the one hand I drink enough Kool Aid to think the Leafs are gonna win the Cup. But on the other hand, if I had to bet money, I'd bet on Knies being somewhere between Vesey and Bozak at best as far as NHL careers.

Hope I'm wrong, but my irrational enthusiasm doesn't extend to Leaf prospects.

- Zezel

The bets for Knies are Kreider outside of his 50 goal year to somebody like Josh Anderson...to some bust.

I haven’t lived in Toronto since the eighties and at that time I thought the transit system was terrific. But even then there was a traffic expert who was sounding the alarm because of the projected growth. I don’t remember his name but apparently he was the guy who coined the phrase “ Grid Lock “

Most major cities, i would agree. Although Ottawa is a cyclist/walk friendly city in my opinion. However, its not on the same scale as Toronto
- Fakepartofme

Copenhagen, Holland.

Toronto is getting better slowly, but they still insist on building bike infrastructure that actually funnels cyclists into right hooks at intersections, which is the most dangerous situation. (Never pass a vehicle at an intersection on the right, kids. Take the lane and pass on the left around vehicles turning right). Until they build actual protected intersections there's a long way to go.

Your opinion is not truth, you can think however you want about me I don't care Have never really enjoyed talking hockey with you on here, I do with many others so no worries there

And it was childish, and that is my opinion. It doesn't have to have any worth to you and I do not expect it to, but I think it was extremely childish and you had an emotional meltdown.

You sure put a wreck to the Canucks thread though, they (frank)ing hate you so thanks for that, that has been entertaining to read.

And I have no idea what you are talking about, thats the 2nd time you said it. I wasn't on HB for a few days. Haven't even had a chance to read whatever Monkeypunk said. But keep being obsessed with me little guy

- Santo_44

The fact everyone agreed it's not my opinion. It's just you. It's sad that you can't see anyone else's perception of you. I feel sorry for those in your personal life.

Ah the one time you make a statement, get shut down and you "don't come on for a few days" strange behaviour for a guy who can't stay away.

You do you. Sad life you live man.

Funny. I wish Montreal had that mindset with Caufield He thrived and we crumbled so it would be nice to have the switch flipped to our side.
- Santo_44

Bear in mind that Caulfield had no goals and 1 assist and was -2 and benched twice against us in the opening round.

He literally had a negative impact in the series against us.

Knies will not get that luxury with the Leafs in the first round. If he can't cut it, he won't get to try.

They should have built the subway line they were going to under Queen Street. There should have been many times over the amount of subway built decades ago. They should knock down the Gardiner. Also the Leafs should clinch the Cup while I get a round of brains from a clone of Belinda Bauer.

Watch paint dry man, less argumentative and honestly a better waste of time than trying to talk anything there.

For what it's worth, benching him and Kotkaniemi for the first two games was a weird decision.

This being said, I didn't realize he didn't score one goal in the first round, guess he started doing better in the 2nd round against Winnipeg.

Weirdly enough the best case comp for Knies would probably be El Nino.

That's where Garmin radar on the bike comes in handy.

I know you don't like him much, but it wouldn't be a terrible scenario if he ended up being El Nino 2.0

Like any NHLer, and lets not pretend ZAR is a staple here. If he plays bad he wont get to try either.

There really is not much depth on froward, which probably shows you the Leafs belief in Knies.

Also McMann is out for a while now, might not even be an option in the playoffs. All the Leafs have are 20ish year old rookies beyond the 12th healthy forward right now.

Have you got all the toys?

I read DC Rainmaker, so although I don't own a road bike (I own a 30 year old mountain bike I inherited from my late father-in-law), I do love reading about the Garmin stuff.

Garmin pedals that talk with your Garmin Edge would be very, very cool.

I have the Edge, but not the power pedals or the radar. The Edge already has 100x more functionality than I actually neeed, but if you're doing all-day rides the GPS is amazing.

Hmmm, I thought commentary on mental health issues was out of bounds. Only if you're trying to exploit it to victimize yourself hey, (frank)ing hypocrite 😂
