Have you got all the toys?

I read DC Rainmaker, so although I don't own a road bike (I own a 30 year old mountain bike I inherited from my late father-in-law), I do love reading about the Garmin stuff.

Garmin pedals that talk with your Garmin Edge would be very, very cool.

can a player picked 57th be a bust?

Yes. Ask the media who made his gilded image.

I have the Edge, but not the power pedals or the radar. The Edge already has 100x more functionality than I actually neeed, but if you're doing all-day rides the GPS is amazing.

Fun story:

I used to belong to a loose group of athlete friends - we came together under the Running World Online Boston Marathon Forum (which sadly shut down).

So I really shouldn't have been hanging with these people. They were very, very serious athletes - lots of triathletes. The fastest ever female marathoner from Oklahoma - that kind of level.

So we all followed each other on Strava.

I kept getting messages asking if I was making the jump to triathlon - and I couldn't understand why.

Turns out they were looking at my incredible swim numbers - because after a long run, I would stretch out in the pool with a few laps (and record it on the Garmin watch for fun). I didn't know you had to set the pool length - I was swimming in a 25M pool, and the default on the watch was 50M.

I played with a friend who has one last summer.

I gotta say, it was nice knowing my missed shot was supposed to go exactly 100 yards further than it did.

I've got the S60 (Costco was practically giving them away last year).

As Zezie alluded to, I'm probably using 10% of its functionality.

Ha ha yeah. I've had a few ice skates across the city on Strava that way.

I don't really know much about it, but DC Rainmaker is the undisputed king of smart sportech reviews:

For what it's worth, benching him and Kotkaniemi for the first two games was a weird decision.

This being said, I didn't realize he didn't score one goal in the first round, guess he started doing better in the 2nd round against Winnipeg.

- Scabeh

He crushed Vegas - I think he had 4 goals and an assist or two. No goals and 3 assists in the 4 game sweep of the Jets. If I recall he was pretty minus-y against the Bolts, but he had no goals and 3 assists in 5 games.

Who wasn't? Habs players were physically done when they made it to the finals.

It ended Price and Weber's careers.

For the record, I'm in favour of traffic enforcement for cars and cyclists as well. Right now there is effectively no law enforcement at all for traffic other than parking.

What is Price's official status?

Is there a hope he can play again?

Officially, there's very little chance he ever plays again.

In reality, there's no chance at all.

Hmmm, I thought commentary on mental health issues was out of bounds. Only if you're trying to exploit it to victimize yourself hey, (frank)ing hypocrite 😂

For a person who thinks asking if someone has ADHD is highly offensive, accusing someone repeatedly of having a mental breakdown isn't acceptable. Take your own advice, just don't do it, santard.

I forget which I have. I use it all the time, but don't tinker with it or try any stuff on it. I dont even use it to keep score. It is really just to give me an idea of how far away I am I'm not good enough for the rest of the stuff to matter.

It's fine if you don't like her particular brand of politics, but calling her a franking moron is undignified, and quite frankly smells of misogyny.

She has an MBA from Rotman School of Management.

She was the Minister of Education and the Associate Minister of Finance.

She's a hell of a lot smarter than you, Gigsie.

- Atomic Wedgie

Nah. When someone says one thing and then backtracks on it to say the exact opposite, pretending they never said otherwise, because they discovered that the people completely disagreed with what her stance was, they're (frank)ing stupid.

Which, yeah, is most politicians.
