It's a non starter. The Flyers don't have the chips to trade into the top 3.
- MJL

Per usual you are wrong.

They have the chips. Whether they’d use them is another question

While Cates is not a player that will elevate a team to contending status. He is absolutely the kind of player that a contending team needs. Strong two way depth forwards are key types of players that are needed to build a complete team. He is still young at 24.
- MJL

Like I said… not needed on this team. Doesn’t fit timeline. Absolutely the player to fear for contract extension

Hart is going to need a new contract in a year and a half. Does it make sense with the teams timeline to sign him to a bigger money deal?
- MJL

Absolutely you do. He’s a goalie you build around. He’s worth every penny.

Someone tell me why you would send foerster back down if he’s doing nothing but asserting himself and showing that he belongs. Who gives a rats ass about the phantoms playoffd why would that be better?
- Just5

i hear you. I want Foerster to get NHL ice-time. The Phantoms aren't going anywhere so Tf is better off getting experience with the NHL teams.

What should be more important is keeping this young group (farabee, foerster, frost, zamula, York, etc) that is now starting to play better while winning games together to finish off the season with the flyers. This is your team for next year. Let them finish the year strong together

Sure he fits the timeline. He is the kind of player that there won't be much risk in re-signing.

LOL. You state that Cates at 24 doesn't fit the timeline but Hart at 24 does.

Trade Laughton during the summer. His value will.never be higher. By the time the tesm.is good he'll be an aging slightly over paid 4th liner.

Contradicting yourself. Nice.

Now you claim Hart doesn't fit the timeline when earlier you said that they should re-sign him and they can build around him. You don't even know what you post.
