Tremendous play and thank god Horvat gets that. Cizikas with an incredibly unselfish play too. Sometimes an empty netter is all it takes.

Only caught the third on my phone after men's league but looked like sorokin kept them in It until Palms scored

So they lose to the poop teams, but beat the good teams.

Guess that’s a winning formula once the playoffs start.

That’s a huge win. This team, I’d say unfortunately, plays to its level of competition.

As great as Palmieri was, Sorokin won this for them. The defense hung him out to dry continuously. The Devils are a good team. Sorokin won this.

They played a damn solid game through the first two periods and final 5 minutes of the game. They definitely owe Sorokin for keeping them ahead through the first 15 minutes of the third. He was his usual awesome self

Engvall deserves the shout too. Good game for him too.

Sorokin was great, but he's usually great. So instead of making him the first star almost every game they win, I guess they have to reward Palms for his 3-point night on this offensively challenged team.

It’s very alarming how often the defense got walked tonight. Devils have a ton of offensive talent but that’s no excuse. Romanov probably the only defensemen who played decent in his own end.

Way better than the weekend games. They controlled most of the zone time. Arguably, best chances for the Devils though. Lots of defensive breakdowns and guys letting their forwards break through. Sorokin was magnificent. This was a good effort, just would like to see the defense tighten up because if the Devils were playing against an average goalie, they probably win this game.

Romanov laid some solid hits on Devils trying to move the puck up along the boards.

I would just add that the game was much closer than the final score indicates.
