I caught that last night. Gotta love Butch. And Hickey fits in pretty well too.

As much as I like AJ, I really have enjoyed Hickey being on the broadcast

Hickey on Sorokin making a save with a Devil on top of him: "Pretty good for a guy getting a lap dance, right?"
Butch : "and it was free of charge"

I could hear the nervousness in Brendans voice after that exchange between Butch and Hickey. I was rolling.

It's nice to see Pelech starting to play like Pelech. Took him a little while after the concussion. He was excellent last night. Romanov throwing his body around like a lunatic was enjoyable as well

One of Romanov’s better games imo. He was arguably our best defenseman last night. Engvall has been playing pretty well himself lately also that is looking like a great add. Pulock on the other hand…

Pulock has his ups and downs. He's definitely best when paired with Pelech. His glaring mistake last night was a typical inaccurate shot that resulted in a two on one the other way. That said, Pelech could be equally faulted on that since he pinched in to try and keep the puck in the o-zone but misplayed it.

Overall, I think the defense has been erratic. Romanov has been the best dman over the last 10 games or so. Pelech and Pulock have been 'okay". Bolduc makes some expected rookie mistakes but is far better than Aho defensively.

Mayfield has been an utter train wreck. Two terrible turnovers that resulted in both losses to CBJ and Buf and another one that almost led to a tying goal last night. I've always thought Mayfield was an underappreciated guy but he's been flat out awful this year

I’m a big Danekyo fan. If you turned the devils broadcasting on he definitely didn’t show homer and felt it was a distinct kicking motion. Not sure if it was the other way around butch would have felt the same.

I truly believe even though he bleeds devils black and red he actually likes all the teams in the metro area.

It looks like they've dressed Bruno Gervais in a #6 Pulock jersey all season

Mayfield has been awful this season. I thought Bolduc had a good bounce back game last night after his last couple of not so good games. He was pretty steady out there.

Accurate. Guy has been a mess this season. He has been, at times, our best defenseman the last four seasons. I know he doesn’t have the offensive production everyone had hoped for but defensively he has been great up until this season.

Daneyko is great but not sure how anyone could dispute that disallowed goal.

Clear pendulum motion on that and it was called no goal on the ice too. Fla losing really put them in a great spot to make the playoffs but barzal hasnt resumed skating yet so that's a concern

I like Hickey on the broadcast as well. Does a good job. I have to think he gets Butchie’s job when he retires.

At this point likely a grade 3 MCL tear, which is a 4 to 8 week recovery. If the ACL is impacted it can go beyond that. It's been just over five weeks now, so that would make the most sense.
