I'd normally say Boston and the Penguins based on age, but Boston is seemingly good every damn year.

Maybe Pittsburgh with their roster?

Some might say the Panthers, but they have a super aggressive GM and an improved cap situation.

I don't see many, at least when initially looking.

You’re way too generous on the goaltending comment and forgot to mention our revolving door cast of C level AHL defensemen in the cast all season.
You make a very valid point. We are still in the hunt in mid April and too many are biatching. No one has us pegged for 90 points and a potential wild card spot this year.

So we won several games against teams that are better than us, but didn't win all of the games. By golly, you got me. The 15 point jump this year and being entertaining as hell wasn't enough. Lets wrap ourselves around the sadness of the incompetency of previous management and terrible players.

Didn't you just enjoy the hell out of this season? Isn't this team a ton of fun? And can't it just be that every team that is ahead of them is better than they are right now? There was no great failure here. They weren't expected to make the playoffs and it isn't a surprise to anyone that they just missed. It was a hell of a year.

Didn’t Sabres clinch playoffs in CBus? Gerbe with ridiculous Spinorama backhand goal. Last year they were in maybe? Was thinking about the Flyers Easter playoff game too. Iirc Sabres on the PP at end of 3rd and Richards cross checked TimCo in the head. TimCo concussed and no penalty for Richards.

I like Garland and Mayfield.

Olofsson+ for Garland. The plus is to get Vancouver to retain. I think he fits the 3rd line well and if you could get Vancouver to retain he would be worth it.

The female dogging about female dogging takes are the worst. There might be a day where that might be a reasonable point to make. It certainly isn’t on the cusp of an NHL record 12th season of not making the playoffs. Especially when they were so close that even a little real help probably would have gotten them there.

You’re quite negative today 19 - it’s not like you?? No way Tiger was playing 27 holes with his leg especially when the last 3 holes he played he was 5 over

Would love to get a top 4 defender under 25-26 years old for 13OA and I think we could get a pretty damn good one even if we had to add but I don't see it happening from Adams perspective. Not his style.

Goaltending is a very important position and until 9 days ago our goalies sucked moose b*lls. That problem may have been solved, let’s hope

Or the failure of not getting one more Defenseman that could actually help. Think if Adams would have acted on his D injuries earlier it could have meant a few extra wins. IMO
