My thoughts though, management likes him and continues to play him decent minutes.

Better 3rd pairing defenseman, decent 2.5 contract, seems like 1 more year in the blue and gold IMO.

The female dogging about female dogging takes are the worst. There might be a day where that might be a reasonable point to make. It certainly isn’t on the cusp of an NHL record 12th season of not making the playoffs. Especially when they were so close that even a little real help probably would have gotten them there.

Kevyn failed this year. There’s no other way to describe it. He failed to address glaring deficiencies, he failed to recognize the progress the team had made, he failed to swing a deal that might have made a difference. After 12 years of organizational failure, fans have every right to be angry about that.

Many are making space for one of, if not both of Savoie and Kulich, but I can easily see them bringing back the same group below. Even Olofsson as well, as they ride out all the contracts, then let those contracts run out and replace them with Savoie and Kulich after next season.

What did he ruin Boss. You can't be Happy and upset at the same thing. Nothing wrong with being Happy at some of what is happening and mad cause it looks like Adams missed a opportunity. Just cause he doesn't have rose colored glasses on and sees it both ways isn't ruining it for most. It's just being truthful. Some just choose to keep the glasses on.

I actually think KA makes some moves this summer. I can see 2/3 of krebs, olofsson, middlfat moved for a top 4 D and or a vet forward that had plenty of experience and still plenty left in the tank.

Just a hunch. I think they see what we see but did not want to change the vibes to much inseason. Team is way to soft. They really need some tought guys to play against. Girgs is not that.

1st line - soft
2nd line - Young ( Soft )
3rd line - whats worse than soft?
4th line - not soft but also not hard to play against

1st pairing - Decent toughness
2nd pairing - very soft
3rd pairing - Ideal 3rd pairing

I thought boush and stillman actually played great together. Were very hard to play against.

I heard greenway isnt a bottom line guy according to management. We already have our top 6. IMO

They had 12 with tage the past few games. Interesting look with the 2 big guys together. The played well.

I like krebs on the KOG line currently, so rousek in for okposo makes sense to me.

Savoie looks like 110% on the roster next season.

2/3 lines maybe more of a 2A and 2B IMO.

The more I watch donnie and his defensive usage of both okposo and girgs, makes me feel like one is definitely returning next season. (If not both)

Girgs takes so many tough match ups and blocks shots , kills penalties ect. I just dont see anyone on the roster replacing his defense at forward.

And let's be honest, 10 goals in his role is very impressive. Guy works hard and wont break the bank.

Also, krebs IMO , very unlikely to be moved. Same for mitts.

I actually don't agree with some of it, but I see them playing it very safe overall, and only making one real move on defense.

Overall, I think they need to make one more big move at forward. Adding another forward like Tuch to put on Cozens line would really solidify the strength of the forward core.

My hope is next year people hold Kevyn Adams to an accountability of legitimate contender and not the 6 CM off the ground bar “at least they look like they belong in the NHL.”

His drafts aren’t perfect, but hard to argue with the results so far.

He did well in the Risto, Eichel, and Reinhart returns.

The fact they had the stones to give Tage the money they did shows an organization that’s forward thinking and proactive.

I get being mad at them for sitting on their hands this year, but I have faith that when they do push the chips to the table, they will know what they are doing cause I haven’t seen anything to suggest that they can’t identify talent.
