What a (frank)ing game. Start to finish, domination.

Love the effort all around. Defensive structure was great all game with minimal breakdowns. John Marino has been absolutely crushing it. He's just a blackhole on the blueline and kill every play instantly.

Would like to see Sharangovich in there on the fourth line and can flip a coin on Bastian/Lazar coming out. Most of the dangerous chances against were with them on the ice.

On a team with Hughes, Nico, Bratt, Timo, Hammy who would have thought our MVP so far would be Schmid?What an amazing and awesome surprise.

That game was beautiful. The 3rd was a sight to behold. Good for them, and good for the fans that paid good money to support the team, with the risk of losing and having to deal with all the rangers fans (which there seemed to be less of compared to games 1 and 2). Freaking Schmid. The perfect pass from Haula and an absolute rocket from Mercer. Meier is doing some good things.. nearly had one tonight.

It’s funny how Palat has 2 goals already when I was hard on him… but one is an empty netter and the other one a fortunate deflection. The whole team has been playing better, and of course that includes him.. but you know some will use these goals to support how valuable he was in the playoffs lol.

We HAVE to carry this over to game 6. Need to finish them off. Have to.

Devils outshot them 20-2 in the third period. Thats crazy. I see why Igor was pissed,he has every right to be. Glad to see the Devils didnt just sit back in the third. Bahl is a beast. Hes been really impressive. Thought Meier had a better game. and i love hes getting under the skin of Igor. Cant score find other ways to be in the game

Can't believe Timo got a penalty for getting punched in the face. That officiating did us no favors.... but glad it didn't have any effect on the outcome.

I feel a little for Timo because he's playing well and not scoring.... but it's been a big help in getting the Rangers rattled.

Outside of the first two games where everybody was poop and a few shifts here and there, Timo has played well. He's generated offense by himself but just hasn't been able to beat Igor, who has been the Rangers' best player by far. I don't really think it's something to be concerned about because Timo is still working hard out there. Plus, he's playing physical without putting himself out of position so he's still doing the other stuff you want in the playoffs.

Gotta imagine officiating will be worse in game 6. I’m inclined to suspect the nhl would want series to go as long as possible.. and it’s hard to believe the nhl wouldn’t want a much more marketable NY team to advance over jersey.

Rags are gonna come out on a mission. Management has put so much into this team, and Gallant really doesn’t wana lose in 6. We HAVE to be ready. I feel like we were fortunate to get that first goal and take some of the air out of their sails. Gotta do that again.

I don't like how Igor was getting back into a little groove there in the third, would have been nice to get a few more in on him. Score could've been so much worse, he's the reason for keeping the Rags from being totally demoralized. Gotta keep driving hard to the net next game.

Leads the Devils individual scoring chances, individual high danger chances, SCF%, and is 3rd on the team in HDCF% and xGF%(behind Nico and Bratt). League-wide he leads the league in shot attempts, individual expected goals, and penalties drawn at 5v5. He's also 4th in the league among forwards in on-ice xGs only behind McDavid, MacKinnon, and Bratt. The points will come if he keeps playing this way.
