FIRST, we have to stop the Canes stretch passes along with a quick tip into the middle of the ice that they use to advance into the neutral zone without having to out-skate us, this also prevents us from getting turnovers on the rush because the puck spends such a little amount of time in the neutral zone. SECONDLY we have to find a way to counter act there 1, 2, 2 fore-check, it suffocates us in our own end and causes mayhem and is preventing us from getting the puck out of our own end.

Yeah, there are only a few other teams that have never been swept and it's mostly teams that haven't made the playoffs that much. We're by far the team with the most playoff games/appearances and having never been swept.

Yes, the refs missed some penalties but I'm not sure what the Canes gripes on most of them were. They really did run around the ice gooning it up and expected none of it to get called. Also, the Devils powerplay is atrocious so what are they even mad about. If Aho wants to run around the ice slashing people instead of playing feel free.

Still don't agree with going with Vitek, and id still go back to Schmid next game. I wasn't thrilled with Vanecek today. Thought he looked uncomfortable all game and gave up some weak goals. That's probably an 8-1 or 8-2 game with Schmid in net. Doubt we see a goalie change after a win though.

If any any change is made, I assume Bahl comes out if Graves is ready. Barely played tonight and got burned a few times early.

Lindy is terrible. He’s been shielded by having an amazing young talented team and mostly awesome staff. NJ’s success is not b/c of Lindy’s wisdom. He’s just lucked into a great situation. And still makes dumb ass choices.

Fire Ruff and hand this team to Burnette before we lose him to another team!

Vanecek didn't play a good game and it was covered up by Carolina's goaltending just being even worse. We got a big lead early which is nice, but it was a lot of good luck mostly. Schmid definitely should be back in net because I expect Carolina to really tighten it up next game.

Agreed, i think we're gonna get Carolinas best game Tuesday. If Vitek plays like that, we aren't winning. Hopefully the game off allows Schmid to reset and Ruff actually goes back to him.
