Luke Hughes is so BAD on D he might be a -50 next year

BRUTAL

- Goalie-33

Dont worry, hes been fantastic in every game hes been in except one, and he was more unlucky than anything in that game. Hes been better than expected this early into his career. Kids already a stud, and is only gonna keep getting better

Smart to put Blackwood in so you can blame him for losing the series instead of blaming yourself for starting the wrong goalie.

Ha! 3rd goalie's the charm?

Kidding aside, they can't start a guy who hasn't seen game action in over a month. But at this point, our goalies have been a poopshoot so what does it matter? All depends on whether or not the team in front of him (whoever it may be?) shows up or not.

Just win baby! Get one tonight and bring it back home for game 6. Weren't we down to the FlyGirls 3-1 some years back? We can do this. Keep the faith. 4-1 victory tonight

We can’t do this. Even if we win tonight, Carolina is too well coached, too confident, too much speed even with their injuries, and goalies are playing better than ours.

Despite the negativity, I am guaranteeing a victory tonight! I don’t agree we’re being outcoached or out goalied. Turnovers are killing our offensive flow. At one point the other night turnovers were 26-2 or something like that in favor of Carolina. You don’t win playing that way. Road game….back to basics…Carolina squeezing sticks too hard to get the 4th win. I smell victory!

You’ll thank me tomorrow

Turnover numbers were inflated by the lopsided score. In the third New Jersey was just throwing bombs up the middle and the Canes just kept picking them off.

I am a bit surprised at the scores of these games, i thought for sure we'd see some OT's. I'm hoping for the best but expecting the worse. These young Devils had a nice run but they just aren't patient or disciplined enough yet to play the Canes style of hockey.

I definitely agree that the way to solve scoring problems is to have Jack Hughes on the ice less.
