I love how Bahl is turning out. But it took him how many years to feel comfortable, patient, confident. It took Luke one game. LH is gonna be very special. He needs to start in the playoffs. Use Smith as the 7th damn, rotate as needed.

I'm not down on Hughes at all but who on the left side of Siegenthaler, Bahl, and Graves is going to sit for him to play? Next season I'm all on board for dropping Graves and giving Hughes the spot but we are talking about 2 NHL games of work here.

I know he’s a bit slow comparatively, but he’s quite good at his craft. And while I’m not condoning head shots, pushing the envelope in physical play is certainly helpful in the playoffs.
