I want the Devils to do well but being realistic about needing to win three in a row. I'd believe a little more if the games that were lost were even slightly more competitive but almost no positives to be found in any of them.

That being said, I do NOT see this happening.

So much to be happy about with NJ. I think next year and years after these guys are gonna have way better chemistry. Timo came on the IR and only got to play 20 games with the Devs. That’s not enough time to learn a new team. Hopefully he resigns here long term, I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t.

Dougie was a big disappointment for the post season, but going forward this defensive group is gonna get significantly better. We have Luke, Nemec and possibly Walsh, all way more offensively creative than most of our current group.

We need a legit 1A goalie too. None of Vitek/Schmid/Blackwood are gonna be the answer.

This Severson-Graves pairing is absolutely not working. Needs to be changed immediately.

I will say, some of the positives are that we were hemmed in for a while and stuck around in the game for once and actually managed to turn it around.

Luke has already taken over for Graves. Has made multiple key defensive plays, and his speed is ridiculous. He can transition into offense in an instant. What a player we have.

Bittersweet ending, but man this was just a great season. This is only the beginning, this team is here and they're gonna be here for a long time.

The Devils played Luke Hughes like a top pairing D tonight(25 minutes, 2nd to only Marino), and he was excellent. The kid should've been in from the start and never taken out. No shocker, but he's should be considered a lock in the top 4 next season imo.

Schmid needs to start next season as the #1, he's got "it." Just need him to keep developing and improving.

Huge offseason for Fitzy coming up. Gonna be real interesting to see how he handles it.
