Losing Power would be big with are Defensive system so weak. If there was a plan to replace him and still be able to add a few D would change that answer IMO. But we are so weak at D it makes this trade not work.

Fair enough, agree he wouldn't be easy to pry. Then again, after missing the playoffs twice in three years, they may be ready for a quick reset. With Tanev, Weegar and Stecher there, they do have some flexibility. After all Andy only has 3 years left. If we're trading Savoie and a 1st in a stacked draft, in my opinion, we should be big game hunting.

Stecher is a UFA now and going to be 30.

Tanev has one year left on his deal.

Andersson is good, cheap, an RHD and young.

Can't imagine a reason why they'd trade him without it being a massive overpay.

Speaking of, if you're willing to trade Savoie and the 23 1st, aim higher in terms of the player.

Think Pettersson, for example.
