Well IMO if they sign Girgensons 1st there's a chance he's the only one brought back. If Okposo signs 1st it makes me think both will be back and we won't see a few youngsters added to the forwards group. I am really hoping Greenway picks it up next Camp, he throws a wrench in things to if all he brings is his Purse again.

Always Happy Boss. Just want better sometimes and think they could. But am not gonna take anything away from the Development and Growth. It has been amazing, and Adams has a big hand in that. You can go back to when Adams was hired, I liked the move and still do. Doesn’t mean I don't think he missed on some opportunities to help his Club. Really looking forward to the Growth on the Ice, but also in the Front Office. Adams could really put his Name on this Team this Offseason before he becomes President.

In regards to snickerdoodle, I really cant figure out whether they are playing him 1st line center :

A) up trade value
B) see what he has before giving him a long term deal

I think it's B. The organization I feel absolutely loves him.
He's besties with dahlin and fits the vibes to a tee....

We get conflicting messages on him and they have another year to 'evaluate'. Nothing would be surprising here: trade, wait, or extend early. If they didn't have 4 KA hand-picked 1sts coming soon, it would be much clearer. I like him as a 2LW with Cozens, but Donnie doesn't.

If they truly see him as a top line talent and want to extend him, you're probably talking something in the Cozens ballpark. Maybe a little less if they get in front of it now? If they think higher of Savoie + Kulich, and project him as a third liner, you have to consider moving him.

Big decision with a lot more risk than Tage or Cozens. No strong opinion on it, other than an F for D flip needs to happen and playing well makes a move easier.

I disagree, the harborcenter rink guard handpicked krebs in the eichel trade, in addition to targeting hometown hero tuch.

Krebs has a long shelf life. IMO. KA just acquired him 100ish games ago.

He's gonna take the next step, he's just small and young for the nhl currently.

Mitts is still a RFA at the end of his Contract. His QO is 2.6m. Sabres have to decide if he's part of this Core. If they think that then why not go 7yrs say 37.5m and lock him up. Could be a Fantastic asset down the road if he continues a 50-60pt pace.

I agree, depending on what they do with Savoie and Kulich. They don't need Girgensons or Okposo even to make out a decent top 12.

I don’t see why it’s some massive failure either though just because they didn’t break the drought to play an extra week and a half of hockey.

We saw how bad the Sabres at times struggled when things tightened up.

An extra 5 games in that atmosphere would've went a long way IMO. They would've figured out some things and would be better prepared for the years ahead.

I think that’s why the team will invest in him. Can easily bounce between top 6 or bottom 6 wing or center. At least over the past couple months, he seems to be a jack of all spots. Where is he needed? Just keep him away from Olo…..
