At this point in his career he’s American Olofsson.
Kills you at even strength but piles on the PP points.
- Swedish_Jesus
he was a plus player on the rangers second line for 19 games
olofsson and kane should never be in the same conversation

So they're not heading in the right direction? OK. - Powerslave
How many times has the following been said: "wow, what a close to the season! That can only mean good things for the future!"
I'm firmly in the "show me" stage. Sign a real fücking goalie, not some asshöle veteran that's been in the league for 7 years with 4 different teams and hope he pans out, don't sign a 47 year old Kane to a multi year deal, and upgrade the defense. |

But i would keep an eye on luke tuch buffalo tried gettig him last year .
There has been whispers lately that he is not all in on joining montreal
He's not a superstar but i see him being a nice player like marcus foligno

Hence the "some" bit. Tage was very smart to take that deal, Samuelsson would've been an absolute moron to not take the deal, and Cozens probably should've bridged. If you're celebrating "almost made the playoffs after 12 years", you might be a Mickey Mouse organization. - Wetbandit1
We are celebrating the fact that this team should be a cup contender within the next couple of years as long as Adams isn’t completely brain dead. |

I am firmly on the “special teams do matter” train but there are better players available.
Jason Zucker being a good example - Swedish_Jesus
The idea of signing Zucker as a UFA is scary.
The potential for him to revert back to the meager production of the pair of seasons before this one terrifies me.
I would stay away from Zucker and look elsewhere. |

Adams could prove himself to be neither incompetent or highly competent, and merely be competent, and they still don't end up being cup contenders.
Being a cup contender is not easy. |

Underlyings are good. The points are more a reflection of the talent you are playing with.
As an example, Casey had 17 points in his last 11 games, but I think we can all agree he doesn’t have that production if he isn’t playing with Tuch and Skinner over a majority of that stretch (this is not taking anything way from Casey as he definitely played great hockey the last few months) |

Are you paying $5M+ on a multi year deal for only underlying metrics?
He'll need to produce offense too.
I'm not paying that much for 30 points and good underlying numbers. |
