Granato said UPL was not made eligible for the Calder Cup Playoffs because they didn't want him thinking about anything other than developing in the NHL.

Called it a successful season for UPL because he recovered from the ugly start, played big games, gained experience, etc.

Sabres GM Kevyn Adams went out of his way to emphasize the impact of goalie coach Mike Bales.

"He's really good at what he does."

Adams said he still believes in UPL and loved the way Levi played down the stretch. On Levi, Adams said: "To be honest, he earned it."

Being happy with UPL and wanting to resign Okposo sorta seems like a sick joke.

All kidding aside 10 goals 18 points for under 2.85 million with top notch defensive skills.

Assuming you did a good job the last few years at work, probably expect a bump?

I don't get all the hate for the big guy. Still so young. He was inconsistent like the team in front of him. Develop him and Levi right though and you could have 2 great goalies

The WHOLE team has to be better defensively. Hate on the 4th liners all you want, but there are 3 other lines that missed defensive assignments, too.
