What about Adam’s vote of confidence for Bales. Did you really see growth in the Goalies under his tutelage this year? Their numbers certainly don’t support Bales doing a solid job.

-Anderson could play once every two weeks because he was too old. He can't play anymore. Verdict: Upgrade
-Olofsson, while potting Goals was on the ice for 2X Goals against. Helps other teams more than his. Verdict: Replace
-Bryson was worse than Olofsson. Helps other teams more than his. Verdict: Upgrade
-Jost, I liked the guy myself but he isn't irreplaceable. 4C would be good to have as a FO artist..he needs to improve. Verdict. Retain as 4C / 13F
-Clague proved he is ok for short stints of games, but isn't reliable long term. Verdict: Retain as 7th/8th..
-Girgensons is worse than deadman-skating, hurts the PK, can't produce. There are better 4th liners. Verdict: Upgrade.
-Okie should retire and turn the team over to the young core. He's better than Girgensons, but his skating is slowing significantly/ Verdict: Replace

I gave you three examples being Pittsburgh, Washington, and Nashville.

Florida won the presidents trophy last year and made the playoffs by one point this year.

Now, maybe their plan is to upgrade the D (as they were rumored to be trying to do at the deadline, yes?).

They were also rumored to be asking on Meier. Do they want a top 6 F? Two or three "Insiders" on here say they do/did.

I gave you a hard time about a few trades. One of the many you suggested should have got us an extra point or 2.

I'm not sure if anyone expected such a strong finish or levi being a phenom.

Also, the tank angle for a slim % of bedard seems very Sabres. At least going in to the season. It was predicted nationally.
