This is a speculation... Jeff Skinner was healthy scratched a bunch of times. Players get scratched for all sorts of reasons.
we all thought Risto had no value and look what happened. All it takes is one team to deem that Olo has value. - hehateme
Couple very fair points.
I thought risto had good, but limited value.
95% of the board was with you.
Just my opinion, but I liked risto and also liked olofsson.
They both need to go, agree to disagree 🤝 |

No, I would not Boss, other than Kulich he might have been Rochester's best player since January. I would have found a different way to have kept Borgen. He would be a very good partner for Power. - Buff36
Much appreciated 👍 |

Oh I am totally with you, Risto needed to go and GMKA did well with that return. Now OLO needs to go and I am confident that GMKA will maximize the return.

This site desperately just needs a “block” function. I’m not sure which poster you’re referring to. One is unnecessarily petty and mean, the other its legitimately like arguing with a turnip. You might be referring to a third suspect though? - SoCalPucks
Could be the petty and mean one. Haven't read anything from him in months though, tough to tell. |

The boys gotta find out what it’s like in the playoffs. I think they learned some valuable lessons this year during the playoff push about how the intensity rises. Would’ve been nice fro them to see how during playoffs it ratchets up even more.
Bs/Panthers is getting chippy, looks like it is going to be a battle from here on
I missed all of this yapping back and forth between the benches watching the local feed.

I can't believe they didn't cut the mics on that one hahaha. I'd pay to see guys chirping each other. Put this on HBO. NHL is missing out on a goldmine.

That’s understandable for a later round pick, plenty of euro’s come over and adjust accordingly. It was a terrible pick at 14 that fills no holes for when he is ready to play. The notion he was drafted to be traded is silly.
Nylander got the Sabres Joker, IMO Rosen will never make the Sabres or bring anything significant to the club. - washedup20
Rosen had a pretty good season focusing on his 2 way game and expanding his game to the next level.
Lots of people Criticize jack quinns his rookie year in the AHL.
Maybe we should play the wait a see game |

I had a giggle myself during a post altercation delay when Pat Maroon was f'ing with ROR by putting the blade of his stick in ROR's glove while he was wearing them on the bench. Maroon was on the ice at his bench, leaning on the boards and gingerly trying to coax ROR into something by doing so...laughing all the time while ROR was trying to act like he was ignoring him...funny as hell.
Corey Perry with a nice goal and a fight last night...beat the tar out of Holl.
all for $1M...2/2/4 in 2 games...that is LEADERSHIP from a 4th liner.
But hey, let's pay Girgensons $2.2M+ a raise?? C'mon man!

They should have mics all over the ice, every ref, coach. player, mic em up and watch the money flow. Make a subscription based platform so I can hear all of it, i'd happily pay |

Considering how many spots are locked down, maybe KA should stop bringing in question marks like Greenway(which he did after he couldn’t pick up Wilson) and used “futures/assets” in a smarter way. The weeks before the deadline were mismanaged terribly.

It was the only reason to watch the Road to the Winter Classic, or whatever it was called. Refs telling Matt Cooke to "shut the (frank) up, Cookie" will never not be great |

I'm not enthralled with the moves at the TDL to say the least..seemed like a couple try to save face moves to me.
That said, if they can get Greenway to produce at a 25 - 30 point pace and be strong along the boards I'm ok for the next season...but then, not so much.
So much to be resolved this off-season. |

I would say End of November through December were to with all the D injuries. Helping his defense then could have changed a few games. |

Greenway is interesting they believe with a fully recovery from his injury/surgery this offseason he will be able to hit a different level.

One and precisely one knew he would be the Sabres pick and would be worth it. It wasn't you either, poop for brains. Fortunate for some, unlucky for others, the archive doesn't lie. |

The high danger chances are pretty even. That being said the devils have not adjusted and the rangers have. Devils are a transition team. They have not been successful playing another style yet. The Rangers defense has been way better than in the regular season against that attack. - nyrangers2
This is my fear with how the Sabres are coached and currently constructed.
Sabres win games one type of way.
They need to be adaptive come playoff hockey |

Not lately, aside from samuelsson.
2 (1OA's) kinda dampen the farm system idea.
I liked Borgen and we could use (2) 4/5 guys IMO.
Trade some forward prospects. We have plenty. |

You could see why perry would choose Tampa over buffalo.
You did the same thing, when you mk moved there.
Sabres could offer him double and he might not sign.

Funny, Samuelsson actually went out and hired a skating coach. He knew his skating wasn't good enough. Not bringing in a solid vet IMO hurt Dahlin, and could hurt Power if they are not careful. |
