I'm terrified of trading for Wilson, as it would mean giving up meaningful assets and signing him to an extension that starts when he's 30.
The idea of how he would play when he's 33 and older is very scary for a player with his style.
Could easily be a Lucic contract. No thanks. - kingcong39
I don’t have those worries, but they are legit. I don’t think I’d consider Peterka in that specific trade anyways. The main points are that I would not consider Peterka untouchable for the right return. Trades need to happen, and we’re at a point where they need to be very very judicious moves for very clear upgrades. We have cap space, a team and pipeline brimming with prospects, and a 7-8 year window. |

Let's hope they open the Window before Tuch's contract runs out, or the fantastic value they are getting there. |

If they are smart, they should be drafting for his replacement if reasonable options exist at their selections.
Draft D in 2023, rotate to bigger power forwards in '24. |

They need to go early on D to this year, 2nd and 3rd rnds picks, get some Higher end prospects in the system. I mean I would have no problem with Reinbacher at 13, but don't think he will be there, might be a bit high for Pellikka. |

So, I haven't done my deeper dive into the Prospect List yet, but Pellikka I have seen around our pick and down. If we are concerned about drafting 5 or 6 slots early for a solid guy...I'd say they shouldn't be at this point, make the selections work internally for maximum economic efficiency going forward, plan for systemic replacement within reason. Obviously limits on reach must be an important part of the equation to trim unnecessary risk. |

Just judging by what I've watched so far. The Wild are for real. Eichel is finding his form in Vegas. Sabres fuked up when they didn't try for Luke Schen. He's the Leafs beastie defence man so far. |

A talented Buffalo Sabres prospect might be leaving the organization after just a year in North America. Klaus Zaugg of Swiss news outlet Watson reports that Lukas Rousek could be headed back to Europe, and has been identified by HC Ambri-Piotta as a potential replacement for former Ottawa Senator Filip Chlapik. Rousek, a 2019 sixth-rounder, had an impressive 2022-23 season for the Rochester Americans, scoring 56 points in 70 games. It was a major improvement from the four points in 19 games he posted last season and is more in line with how he played.

I wouldn’t call it trolling. Billsmafia on twitter is like a crying 15 year old girl
Everyone should’ve been fired
Diggs should be traded
Diggs shouldn’t be traded
Beane sucks
The list of terrible takes goes on and on.
And i get it’s twitter. But it’s gotten worse - Sabretooth9
Even worse when these idiots come to the arena and start doing the Bills chant. |

Looks like Olofsson announced in early March that he and his significant other are expecting, which likely means they knew going back to the start of 2023. Could be part of the reason for his rough on ice play. |

One would think that he would work harder upon learning that to keep the job.
He remarked during Locker Clean Out days, that the coaches spoke to him about playing more consistently with respect to effort.
One of the things I value as a trait for draft prospects is a high compete level. He is lacking the other 100' of the game and his willingness to get dirty.
Hope they can package him in a trade for an upgrade elsewhere, hopefully for a RhD. |

Lots and lots of distractions, things to plan and consider when you're expecting, along with supporting your wife/lady.
Big change from being entirely focused on nothing but hockey 24/7. |

This wasn't a one time event. The no contact, low effort version of VO is what we've seen 75% of the time since he's been here.
He has a Risto effect. The highlights look good, but he kills you at both ends of the ice.
