It’s funny how the theme was “no excuses this summer” yet everyone’s roster projections is like running back the exact same roster minus Olofsson and Bryson

No lie it has already been said here. “They are going to be one of the youngest team in the league next year. What do you expect?”

Meatball said we’re to expect conviction next year…I guess that he is referring to something about the lava temperature hot pockets in the locker room. The microwave is from the old regime and conviction is the future.

This type of conviction...? (Love it from Linus!!)
This is something you don't see every day: Swayman has to enter game with 3 minutes to go, as Ullmark is sent off for trying to fight Tkachuk.

I think you need to make the distinction between what:
A) we think they will actually do (stay with the plan, largely promote from within)
B) what they should do (95% making playoffs)
C) what would be great to do( SC contenders in '23)

You sound like a lunatic
Maybe change your handle to WashedLuny20?
Do you also drive in reverse so you can look in the rear view mirror there too?

Maybe, but until they actually have enough capable Dman he is still young enough to hope he can still grow and become consistent. He's just not ready to consistently play 22-25min a game that could be needed.

1 year left on his bridge, after playing in the top 4 for years. Time to move on. Demoting him and playing an RD out of position would be a nonsense move. Need to improve, not evaluate any further.

Sabres play all there Defenseman out of position, and I am not evaluating anymore. I know he's not ready for Top 4 minutes yet, hence being drooped down to 3rd pair. And yes the Sabres need to improve, but until they actually have the Defenseman to do it, atleast I know Joker is capable of playing good hockey, he's just inconsistent. I am all for improving on him, but not just gonna dump him when I don't have the players to do it.

Joker like most Sabres need to bulk up,
Another successful rebuild story to start your Monday morning with:
Yeah they did a good job, funny seeing how many Defenseman they took. Sabres are basically ready to do what LA did, if we just go off Adams time like Blake. Only thing is we don't have the defensive pool that LA has. But it's time for Adams and Company to start adding needed pieces to finish his puzzle. They have the assets to do it, with the growth and development this year. Really no excuses not to.
A major difference between the Kings rebuild and the Sabres:
At the conclusion of the 2020-21 season, Doughty said in his exit interview, “With all this cap room, yeah, we got to bring guys in, that’s it, for sure. There’s no point in just waiting for these prospects to develop when you’ve got guys in their prime, guys that are hungry to win, and guys that are sick of losing, so, yeah, we got to bring guys in.”
