They would essentially be about the same pick just different years. I’m with you on that

if he signs with the ducks for daddy's team august 15th as a free agent, would the sabres have a collusion issue with the ducks and NHL?

Bro, you are the one intentionally misinterpreting “skill set similar to what they have in abundance already”. This is your problem. You’re arguing a point that nobody is making. I did not say unskilled. First, I said “skill set” which implies a certain set of skills, as in a certain type of player. I was not suggesting we have too many skilled players. I then also made it clear that the problem is having too many of the same type. You seem to think there’s not such a thing as different skills, and complementary styles. Unless of course you’re losing an argument 5 pages ago in which case you flip and say exactly what I’m saying now. You are the root of all your own problems here. And you’re embarrassing yourself. Good grief, lmaooooo

“Skill set similar to what they have in abundance already”

The flavour of the week is that the Sabres supposedly lack size and grit no ? You then go on the next few pages to stroke your meat over Tom Wilson.

The last two things that come to mind when talking about Patrick Kane are size and grit.

So I am to imply that we have too many skilled forwards which is the definition of “abundance”

If I’m in the wrong, then you clarify what you mean by the skill set Kane possesses that we have in abundance ?

Actually, don’t because it’s orthodox Easter, and I will leave you to be the judge, jury, and executioner.

Would have been nice. But at this point he can go, trade his rights for what you can get. Bit of a shame, we really could have used him. Don’t need the negative vibes, I guess.

Going to need some solid d help in free agency, draft and probably trade.

Let’s hope they get Dahlin signed to 8 years.

No idea what they are going to do at forward. If they want to add P.Kane, they shouldn’t bring back Oko and grigs.

It’ll be an interesting shuffle. I hope Adam’s has his dancing shoes on.

I just think they are going to stick with what they have and not upgrade behind Levi

If they could get him back that would be amazing. But I believe he pretty much said I am done and the only reason he was in Buffalo last time was because Nolan guaranteed him a daily bj

- IndianaSabresFan

Why?
Varly is 34, Jarry is 28
.916 vs .914 career sv%
NYI is a more defensively responsible team
Both UFA's
Varly was at $5m, Jarry at $3.5m

Not seeing much of a distinction myself.

Alex Tuch was supposed to miss 4-to-6 weeks after blocking that shot in February.

He returned 17 days later.

- homiedclown

Again, what did Okposo and Girgensons bring from the "leadership" perspective that Tuch didn't already?

Jarry will be cheap to acquire as he’s played terrible in last year’s playoffs and the must win games at the end of this season, new management will dump him.

Still not an attractive acquisition
