He is on level with Peterka when it comes to playing defense positionally and getting more involved in the play. Rosen is a much better two way player than Kulich.

No one is giving a 1st and Buchnevich got a 2nd.

I don't think I will be surprised.

Best value would be package him for a defenseman.

Buffalo hasn't traded for a good goalie in 10 years and its not easy to do.

My gut tells me its UPL and Levi and they waive Comrie but maybe a trade happens.

That trend will likely continue. If one or both are shipped out, I'd be surprised if a non-prospect goalie came back.

I suppose it could resemble a Talbot-Gustavsson swap.. but I don't think the Sabres would see value in that. Why not just sign Varlamov.

Goalies on the other hand, Buffalo isn't exactly a goalies dream. The heir apparent is already here, and the team plays no defense. If they're going to upgrade the 1A or 1B spot, it'll most likely be through a trade.

What they MAY do, if they feel Savoie isn't ready and needs to be broken in slowly is to rotate him in on L4, and let him earn his way up the roster. Hopefully very quickly.

I think they try to trade him at the draft. I don't know how much value he has though. Probably a 3rd round pick or package him for a defenseman.

I am just guessing but what value does a one dimensional PP specialist who can't play defense have? Ship him to Vegas so he can play with his buddy
