Me, and I stand by that position. When a guy of Bergeron's stature says he wants to play, you let him play. Plain and simple.- bluemoon737

Simple? No. It's a TEAM sport. And his injury means he's not contributing to the Team at the most important time of the year.

Hopefully they win again without him. But that's not the point...

He could get injured in practice. Stop practicing now too? He had family there and wanted to stay game sharp. Poop happens... | |

So this point is well taken. It's a risk, but I would be careful calling the decision selfish, really his career is quite the opposite. Poor timing, sure, but it should accentuate the fact this is probably his last season. Dude is gonna take some liberties. | |

Probably a stretch of making a point here. It's probably not worth arguing about further. Bergy wanted to play. I think we all should be happy he is here. This is likely his last season based on these decisions.

If Bergy truly planned on playing another year, I'm not use you would have seen him in game 82. Just saying. | |

Yeah, even Ullmark was well below par. They had won 9 in a row so they were bound to lay an egg at some point. Hopefully it's motivation. | |

Everyone except Bertuzzi sucked last night.More turnovers than a bakery.
Even Dominoes can't serve that many (frank)ing pizza's.
Entire defense except Gryz should be bagged until they puke and then bagged again.
Nice to see Hall show up in garbage time. Typical. Kind of over this guy.

What a gong show. Could've been 12-3. Pathetic.

Well we just saw a precedent for elbows to the head in playoffs. Should be 3 games. BUT this is the NHL dops soooo a fine and an apology letter from Nosek to Staal?

Honestly it was a dumb hit. If the department of player safety wants to try and be any kind of consistent, Nosek should get around the same as bunting.

Personally I thought 3 games for bunting was a bit harsh. But if Nosek also gets 3 games then that should serve as a warning to the rest of the teams in the playoffs. | |

If they keep it consistent for everyone then 3 games is what it should be.
