There's a private place near where I live that does a straight rye that's absolutely killer.

When they started it was more or less turpentine but they've adapted over the years and have started winning awards.

They only make 300 gallons of the same recipe at a time, so every batch comes out a little different. It's cool.

Rum and pineapple is my poop. My father in law is always bringing these juices over for my kids. They’re older now and don’t care so I end up mixing them a lot. He brought this peach/pineapple juice over I used after work last night…it’s (frank)ing delicious.

I’m a huge beer guy, but have been off the IPAs since the new year, the rum and pineapple has been a good replacement. That Wray & Nephew has a natural banana taste to it that meshes well. 126 proof…you don’t taste it all.

And…is it wrong I just assume you guys are all poopfaced during the games? I was on Tuesday. I was drinking a Goose Island Bourbon County during the 3rd period. Probably why I was calm.

The W&N is overproof rum. I don’t mix brown stuff. Ice and a splash of water sometimes, but I like it straight. Lol, I don’t even like mixing dark rum, I like the clear rums for a drink. That Ron Zacapa 23 year poop is solid, straight up.
