this is flawed by the comrie 2 year deal
just roll with anderson, 6k, subban and houser if that was the case - homiedclown
Probably an excuse, but comrie isnt / wasnt a big name.
He had a dozen nhl starts and could have been a rfa for the peg if they started him a few more games in 2021.
They didn't, that kinda proves his value IMO
Also, didn't we sign him.fairly late, he may have had very few options. |

If you didnt care what levi says , why did you quote him and bring that to your post?
The Sabres organization is absolutely head over heels in love with levi. That's what I heard, so I'm basing my opinion on that. 😉 - Boss34
drafted goalie in second round
tried to get murray according to some, same with gibson according to some, not myself
signed comrie to a 2 year deal
adams is the positive speaker of the nhl

I quoted it because it shouldn't matter to anyone if they bring in another Quality Starter. He even said it. |

No of course not, it all depends on your definition of ignoring I would suppose. I would think taking the first or second goalie twice within 5 drafts wouldn’t be considered ignoring imo (should take one every draft imo, but later rounds) - SDSabre
Very good post.
Ignoring was probably a bad term to describe the Sabres goalie situation.
How about inadequate? |

I am sure the best case for adams was levi signing and getting it done at the big level
he signed
lets see if he is the real deal but what is plan b if he is not the real deal? |

Why did everyone complain about goaltending this season?
Somehow your going to paint a picture that we were happy? |

all those people that said on this site that the punt god was guilty, has been strangely quiet when I posted the link that he was not even on the property when the "rape" occurred - homiedclown
With all due respect, they’ve been silent since I posted the link hours before you did. I say post the link to the blog on that day.

Kinda makes sense to keep upl don't you think?
Maybe it doesnt make sense to the posters, but makes sense for KA.
I thought they should add a Varlamov like you suggested?
I think they roll levi/ upl and comrie in Rochester imo |

You definitely " were" saying that.
Now your falling in line with common sense.
Could I ask you a % of you seeing the Sabres pull off a trade for gibson?
I'm at 0%. No chance , were a budget team.
If your just bs'ing in may, sure good topic.... - Boss34
I know you don't read the posts thoroughly...my post was self-explanatory.
As far as Gibson and Vasie, we have hashed this over and over again, but you purposely keep posting the incorrect take..just like your hero's Don Lemon and Let' Go Brandon.

That Goalie was a reach at 41 last year, especially with the D that were still on the board. Levi is obvious but did anyone expect this.
UPL and Johansson were already here, and Adams let probably are best Goalie walk into FA.
And I am very Happy we got Levi signed, but we let a College draft pick dictate what we do. And it most likely cost us a huge learning experience or a chance at the playoffs. |

This is the most likely of scenarios, largely because they don't want to lose UPL in case he develops more into a good Goalie
If they want to maximize their playoff chances this year and maybe next, then securing a viable 1B goalie would be their direction
If they roll with UPL, they are doing so with crossed legs and fingers, maybe eyes too for good measure. It increases the risk of failure to make the PO's. |

It would never happen, but getting Hellenson in the deal helps the sting, probably just got Powers partner in 2yrs to. |

Would like a guy who has Brent Seabrook potential with maybe some upside to that. Look really good next to Power. |

Reread it. The discourse was actually pretty reasoned which is pretty shocking considering what people will argue about on here. Props to Ion and Sabre in particular for adamantly defending the kids rights. The less temperate people are the usual suspects. Let’s not forget that we still don’t know exactly what happened. A real shame that it potentially ruined this kids career though. That should never happen. Allegations should never determine a persons fate.

In the age of instant satisfaction combined with instinctual human behavior, unfortunately that will never happen. We have to force our brains to reverse course and say, let it play out. Less rational people would rather point and throw stones in an instant.

That tucker Carlson post really hurt huh?
Guys part of the family basically, every evening filled with "who should I be mad at next".
I'm moderate. Like certain thi gs from both sides.
Cant stand far right or far left. 👊
Seems really odd that a human could be strictly with or agaisnt either side... too.many intangibles |

For the crosscheck to Bunting? One game at the most. Dumb and Irresponsible with his stick, but stick rode up from shoulder area into the neck. Wasn’t straight to the head trying to knock him out, or anything like that. I think the fine was fair.
If you’re referring to the play where Knies was hurt we’ll just have to disagree. - Ratsreign
One on there own is enough for a game then put both together in the same game. 2 minimum. The Knies one was way worse. Bunting got 2 for sticking his elbow out. Bennet rips a player down from behind unexpectedly and slam's his head off the ice. I get hes your guy but thats as inconsistent as you can get.
