I don't get the whole ignored the goalie position narrative. They tried getting guys but the trades fell through every time. Could they maybe have gotten someone better? We don't know, I doubt the good ones didn't wanna come here cause the not so good ones wouldn't even wave.

It goes beyond this year, even the year he waited for Ullmark to walk into FA, there were like 6 goalie's that moved. It goes beyond 1yr to what 3 now.

You could get him at the back end of the first round. I don't even like Reinbacher at 13. I see nothing special about him in a draft full of spectacular prospects

I woukdn't mind a trade down in the 1st, picking up an extra 2nd. With the 1st rd pick (around 20) I draft the hometown kid from Hamburg. Then in the 2nd I draft at least 2 dmen, of the 3 picks. It's a deep draft, 3 picks in the 2nd would be great - we could even maneuver back up into the 1st/or close to it

Take those blinders off big guy. You can't wrap your arms around a guys head/neck and pull him down to the ice. IF Bennet doesnt wrap his head up like a tortilla there legs never get tangled. Sam needs to keep on trucking instead of getting his pants all twisted from a rookie. How does Knies get a concussion if he doesn't hit his head? From the initial angle you can't tell but from the back angle you can clearly see Bennet taking Knies head to the ice.

Knies put his head right in there, Bennett’s trying to get around him to go chase the puck that just rolled off his stick (which is why is arm was out like it was) Bennett’s stick hitting the boardshad something to with them getting wrapped up. Knies’ leg took Sam’s out and they went down. You see what you see, that’s cool.
