meier is tearing it up in the playoffs - homiedclown
Yeah, but New Jersey doesn’t have a future anymore because they gave up all the picks, prospects, and players for him and only have him for I think one year…..though…… I could be wrong

When you have your head down in the puck skating in the middle of the ice you are liable.
Trouba or whomever the defender may be isn't going to let the guy skate in down the middle of the zone. Peewee lessons - DirtyDan
To the first part: No, the player throwing the check ALWAYS is liable.
And there's an ocean between "letting a guy skate down the middle" to this. I know you like to play contrarion sometimes, but will admit I'm surprised you're okay with this.

hockey is still a contact sport. You skate with your head down in the middle of the ice your going to get run over. Them's are just the facts.

It’s almost like the regular season means damn near nothing. All that matters is to get in.
Once you get in. Anything happens.
Waiting for the “Bruins would have destroyed Buffalo”
Florida out shot and out chanced Boston.
It’s almost like going coast to coast is damn near impossible and only 1 team has ever done it in all of professional sports. - ImThatGuy
Sure, it is possible anything can happen.
However, the Sabres record against the Bruins, their opponent had they made the Playoffs was 1-3-0 and lost the scoring race at 5 GF -21GA. It was so bad the Bruins literally laughed them off the ice in 2 games with the Sabres on the negative side a combined 1-14.
It is highly probable they don't win.

It was highly probable “Florida,NJ,Seattle wouldn’t win either ” but they did.

Thanks everyone for the kind words in the last blog.
I mentioned back in the winter that my sister was hospitalized out of the blue with a rare spinal condition that affects 3 out of 1,000,000 people. She was released from the hospital yesterday (while 6.5 months pregnant) and still can't walk. I'm posting a link to a gofundme here which would go towards at-home nursing care that insurance doesn't cover.
Any donation large or small would be greatly appreciated.

The hit was super clean. Meier doesn't take it in the face if he doesn't put his head down when Trouba is 2 feet from him.
I don't see how anyone could be against the hit. Doesn't charge, Leads with Shoulder, protecting his lane. Just the perfect hit.
