I think for many of them who they lost to is making it even harder to handle.

I’m just soooo happy the Leafs decided they didn’t really want that silly Cup thingy and instead just let the Panthers move on.
Or perhaps it’s because The Biebs has an absolute rager A-list party planned, and M&M would’ve had to miss it if they were playing in round 3.

The issue they have had all year was Bob sucked and inconsistent goaltending.

And Bob has seemed to figure it out… so they are good again

Not that cut and dried, though. They are playing their asses of to limit the quality of chances and clear rebounds, and keep guys from camping out in front, etc.
A lot of Bobs struggles were intertwined with multiple odd man rushes/breakaways, and guys all alone for cross crease slam dunks, or so much traffic in his face that he never sees the puck. It’s all intertwined. The team play in front of Bob is night and day different from earlier this season. Bob is playing lights out, no question, but it is all intertwined.

The panthers with pretty much the same roster last year had 122 points and lead the eastern conference.

But, ok. The Panthers last year were run and gun, even when they were up by 2 or 3.
Bob always was kind of left hanging. They got spanked by TB after squeaking past the Caps. This year’s team down the final stretch, and even more so in the playoffs is a totally different beast. They struggled all year as the new coach changed their play from last year’s style into what we are seeing in the playoffs. As much as Bob “suffered” under their balls out offense, he benefits from the more responsible game which they are playing now.
