Missed opportunity, well, win it at home Friday night then.

That Sam Reinhart really sucks, 4 points in last 5 games and tied for 1st on the team in goals.
If only he would take pictures with a 45 yo manfan.

So who's there at 13 and who do you Like ?
There should be some very good Prospects available to the Sabres at there Pick. Also could give them the Opportunity to make a splash trade with it also.
Sabres need to build up there D pipeline, so if David Reinbacher is still there at 13 I am Happily handing in my card for the selection.
Very High Hockey IQ
He's got a very Active Stick, and Defends very Well.
Potential to be a Very Good 2 way Defenseman.
Could be a Better version of Samuelsson, a little less Physical but a bit more offense.

Conversely on Reinbacher, I'm not sure he has any dynamic skillsets.

If trading back yields a good return, or trading back into the first round is possible, I like Dmitri Simashev better.

If the Sabres stay at 13, either of the 2 below check off a lot of boxes for the Sabres.

If they are both available at 13, I lean too Matthew Wood over Barlow.

Calum Ritchie would be my 3rd choice at 13.

Will the NHL actually suspend this buffoonish behavior?

Alex Pietrangelo gives Leon Draisaitl a two-handed slash after an empty net opportunity.

Forgot to mention Nate Danielson as a 4th option for the Sabres pick at 13.

He played on a bad team and still produced this past season, while being a responsible player defensively too.

No, you are right. Reinbacher at this point is a Steady Freddie boring Dman, but to me that's a perfect partner for Power. His stick work and they way he forces players to the outside in the Dzone is really good. And he does have a sneaky good shot from the point.

The NHL is too inconsistent with these infractions, this will result in a fine and they will move on IMO. Should be a 1 game suspension and the coach fined as well per the rules though.

I personally don't want a steady eddie type in the first round. I'd want higher end potential talent there.

I'd rather go after that in the 2nd round and free agency.

That's cool, Sabres should get a good prospect with whoever they choose.
I like the steady eddie because he has the potential to be even better.

Ditto...if Reinbacher is gone, which is highly likely, then I would be trying to trade back...how far is up for debate. Targets I would be interested in are on D...so, trying to match Selection point with value of remaining Dmen..and prefer a RHD, but that would be more difficult as is typical in finding them.
Targets include, not in any particular order:
• Tom Wallinder, RhD
• Dmitriy Simashev, LhD
• Tanner Molendyk, LhD
I'd be less interested in Axel Sandin Pellikka in view of his weak defensive skills, and in view of his strong offensive skills.

Wallinder is interesting, if we could trade back to 15-20 I would not mind him. That Philadelphia 2nd is gonna be a interesting pick.

If they stay at 13, then once again if Reinbacher is gone then my preference for Offense is in a "finisher", and would be more interested in it coming on the LW.
That said, guys I personally like are again in no order :
•Oliver More, based on entire skill set but he isn't the strongest pure scorer
•Dalibor Dvorsky, big guy scores, left shot
• Samuel Honzek, another big guy, responsible 2 way.
•Colby Barlow, LW
• Matthew Wood, RW

The rankings after the top 4 or 5 are all over the board, beginning with the Russian Mitchkov. So are the early Mock Drafts...maki g it hard to get a read on where guys likely slot in.

Should be fun to watch in 6 weeks
