I agree with Trouba and Gudas. It would be nice if Adams was aggressive in this aspect. Could really help his team.
- Buff36

It's great to play pretend, neither guy is coming to buffalo.

Somehow this gets spun into KA not being a good gm because he cant get 2 guys who aren't coming here.

remember when vanek and connolly got punished by the flyers in the playoffs

you need grit

- homiedclown

Sure, you need grit, but I also remember Vanek and Connolly getting hit with cheapshots

There was also plenty of grit on the last playoff team with McCormick, Kaleta, Gaustad, Montador, Weber

TimCo was the best player in the NHL up until Peter Schaefer went head hunting. Was a stone cold lead pipe lock for the Conn Smythe.

What the F@ck are you talking about, this is stuff that was brought up by Rangers and Florida fans on trades. Stop sucking KA's testicle, all that was said was be a little aggressive on D. Get your nose out of Adams A$$ and get some fresh air, nothing bad was said about your Boy.

Adams isn’t bringing in trouba.

Think hanafin via trade not trouba

Is this the part of the offseason where we are signing any guy because they can hit? I mean come on

- Sabretooth9

No, this is part of the season people jump in and start saying stuff when they haven't read everything. This Trouba stuff was brought up by Rangers Fans and was being discussed on here cause at 5.5m for only a 3rd and 5th is a pretty good deal for him. Nobody said Adams was doing it!!

Is this the part of the Year when posters come on here and complain and B!tch about other posters discussing Hockey and talking about trades that other fan bases might have said.

Ahh, forget the radical liberal left wankers...just looking for trouble.

Since Bradely apparently didn't get the memo from EK, you need to pick another topic for us to explore, like you did yesterday with the Sabres at 13 in the Draft....it was great banter throughout the day.

What ya got for today?

Victor Olofsson 50% retained for Chris Tanev. Hopefully it's alright to bring up!!

How far up would 39 and 45 get you if Adams tried to trade back into the 1st rnd. Would you use one of are 1sts in the last few drafts if they could get you back into the 1st this year as a sweetener ?

I'd like to use Olo on a trade for a younger guy with more term. Of course, it would be in a package with additional assets.
I said it before aa couple weeks ago, a guy like Cernak, or like I said yesterday a you ger version of McDonagh with term.
Cernak's contract is a bit too long at 8 years for my liking and the style of play..ending in 8 years into age 34.

Who is that guy? Age 26 with 5 years left, RhD?
I know, it is going to cost alot, but like we have said on here many times..they have young assets they can move in that package.

Somewhere in the early 20's I would guess.

I haven't progressed far enough into the draft prospects to see if decent D men are expected to. E available at those picks.

I agree with a younger player. This would be a trade done IMO after FA started and if things didn't work out in acquiring that younger D. Just basically a 1yr stop gap and I get rid of Olofsson and make room for Savoie or Kulich.

Yeah I would say from pick 25 on you are gonna start seeing some D come of the board. The 2nd rnd will have a run on them.

The bold does not exist.

Even expanding your incredibly restrictive parameters reveals that player still barely exists.

Definitely not a easy chore. That's why you always try and fill your Coufer. A strong D pool helps your team in so many ways.
