NBA Playoffs have been FANTASTIC pretty much as per usual, but man alive, NBA players have become soccer players. Any bit of contact and they act like they just took a bullet for the president. ESPECIALLY Lebron. Jordan played in 200 playoff games. Never once hit the deck.

NHL Playoffs have been really good too. Funny how you appreciate the entirety when you don’t have a horse in the race. Couldn’t care less what happens after the Bills or Sabres get knocked out when they’re in.

I saw a couple at the end of the Knicks Heat game that were hilariously bad flops, and then holding his back for the next five minutes, yet as soon as play started he was miraculously fine.

I mentioned back in the winter that my sister was hospitalized out of the blue with a rare spinal condition that affects 3 out of 1,000,000 people. She was released from the hospital yesterday (while 6.5 months pregnant) and still can't walk. -Casey Mittelstadt is part of the core to him it seems, keeps getting talked about
-Greenway is the type of guy they really want, but they want to also be a fast team???
-Joker played good hockey, we just missed it
-Biro, Rousek and Rosen got love on the propsects summary - didn't know Rosen was still 19 - Edit, he isn't he's 20, Adams missed his birthday a couple months ago

I felt like he revealed his intentions for trading "expendable" players, working on draft trades, upgrading the defense, reducing the goaltenders, fast-fowarding (per-se) to "rounding out the roster" instead of figuring out who's going to be here long term...

I appreciated him going into their analytical process on how they look at data and how they process it as an org against 'analytical darlings' vs 'system-based' analytics.

Yes he didn't throw a single player under the bus, nor should he (Joker) and he recycled his "he's still young" line, but in the same breath he mentioned he'd look to improve the defense.

I also really enjoyed how he explained the purpose of the Amerks and the goals of the coaching staff. We debated a lot about letting go of Tails and I know the Clown loved that move so so much but the philosophical change has been incredibly interesting.
