It’s the balance throughout the line up that allows that scoring wave when opposition is in a lull. However the lack of elite players hampers that game breaking goal.

Going home with the split. You were pretty close on the score. Oettinger might just be the best Goalie left in the playoffs. But Dallas also kept the Kraken under 30 shots. I couldn't watch the game too closely as I was celebrating a buddy's birthday, but it seemed more physical.

I haven’t looked at the box score or the fancy stats but yes, it seemed as if Dallas was trying to be more physical. Think they were out hit 40+ to something in the teens in game 1. I think they also had a plan to try and get more PP opportunities. Guys were flipping all over the place early.

Scoring chances seemed pretty even to me, goaltending was definitely a difference tonight, though Grubauer was excellent in the first period.
