Already pointed out not keeping Fast was an epic fail. I have no issues with Goodrow being here. The salary is way higher, no question, and if you want to argue augments the original mistake, be my guest. But not keeping Fast the year before was an independent screw up

Ok. The mistake was complied because the Rangers missed that kind of player. Cleared cap and roster space to sign a guy like Fast in Goodrow. Except Goodrow is paid more and produces less. That just the reality of the entire situation.

Fast is more productive on a per game basis in both the regular season and playoffs. Again, not Goodrow's fault he found somebody to overpay him. Good for him honestly.
