Does KD trade #1 for #2, #22 and #33? - DarthKane
Bedard is Bedard, but Fantelli is more of a chicago-style player
both will be elite.... if you hit on 22 or 33, its not awful.

if he is blooming idiot.
I have seen Fantilli & Bedard together and apart and one is a sure thing, not a projected sure thing. |

Now there has arisen a possibility for a Blackhawks transaction which frankly was not in the cards prior to the unexpected winner winner Conner Bedard.
There has been conjecture on this board if KD would pick up a bad contract There was an admission of available cap room and just maybe the gain out of it would be to acquire another early draft pick
Bedard changes that thought process
Maybe
Someone to show the new kid on the block around the NHL rink and how to at the NHL level?
Who might that be coming aboard next to Bedard
Hmm
Would KD and Kane be affable about a reunion
Perhaps
I for one would love to see Kane retire as a Blackhawk. He has some hockey left in him post operation. A new challenge at an old address is not a bad thing
Could be oh very sweet
Sweet home Chicago
Still in a rebuild but what a jump start |

It's a lottery.
Picking 3rd would of been punishment 🤔
But winning the lottery is rewarding bad behavior?
You're an idiot.

Toews said he had to get well, what if he does, as he qualifies as a leader to learn from.If he feels he truly has gotten better and plays for a discount he fits, doesn't have to move and if it doesn't work out, he fines someway into the coaching staff. - wiz1901
Totally cleaning house of anyone from the KB incident days is the price the Hawks agreed to pay in order to be gifted the #1 overall pick. Neither Kane nor Toews will be back under any circumstances, including coaching. |

Macklin Celebrini
Cole Eiserman
Berkly Catton
I forgot they had an agreement to bring Domi back.
Bring Chicago area native J C Compher.
Bring the 'cat back!
Hope big left shooting wing Colby Barlow is on the board at #19
Look at Kasper Halttunen really hard.
Can Eduard Šalé last to #17, or #18, where a trade up is do-able?
If not just take you falls into the new Blackhawk future playoff team.
You know, maybe now, trading #19 and one of the other later selection isn't as much off an issue, since you just got the best shooter in the NHL to begin your draft night.
Now, a move up into the top 16 seems not a huge loss of an early pick someone else might want a second.
PHILLY HAS NO SECOND Rounder.
Would they send slot # 7 for #19 AND #35? Doubtful.
Vancouver Has NO second rounder, and #11 maybe where we can really capitalize on getting a player that compliments Bedard well, and #19 and #35 look a fair value for an eight slot jump.
(I thought I said goodnight already.)
I cannot shut my brain off... - wiz1901
According to the draft pick value chart the 19th and 35th pick is equal to about the 9th pick in the draft. It could be worth investigating. Maybe because this is a special draft you have to add a 4th or 5th round pick. |

Is there a bad contract with one or two years left that the Hawks could take on along with another 1st or 2nd round pick??? Then they could package a couple/few picks to get another 1st or move our second 1st round pick closer to the top of the draft??? |

Anyone mentioning Kane to come back to Bhawks to mentor Bedard is a joke...Bedard is so much than Kane at same age...Kane had so many immaturity and growing up to do... Don't need Kane, don't need Toews...we need skaters and tough dudes to build around.... |

Congratulations. Unlike when they drafted Kane, the Blackhawks have a few good defencemen already drafted and maturing in the system so they will all be hitting their primes at the same time as Bedard👍 |

Well that was interesting last night.
Now KD has the sweetener to use to unload that Seth Jones contract and then he can really start from scratch. |

Matt Murray or John Tavares? Maybe Dubas would be desperate enough to include Knies? |

No need to poop on Kane. And keep in mind Bedard hasn’t done anything in the NHL yet and has a long way to go to be in the same conversation as Kane. |
