Father and Son's style. - Elbows15
They're ok...kinda greasy though. I know it's not traditional Chicago Tavern Style but would do Piece on North as my pie of choice.
Used to be a pretty good place on Milwaukee, Barcello's. Someone bought it and "improved" the recipe. |

I think you misunderstood the rumor. He is only planning on pulling a Lindros if drafted by Vancouver. - stanleyhawk
Oh ok that makes more sense. Can't blame him, they would be boing him after a week . |

We do order from one place down here where the pizza is edible, I always ask them to cut it in squares for me. There’s nothing like a thin sausage pizza from Chicago with a cold beer(s). There’s a decent beef place in Venice, FL(Tony’s Beef), the owners are obviously from Chicago. |

This is payment for having to deal with Colliton - PatShart
When you think about it, we might have JC to thank for this. If he knew how to coach, DeBrincat, Dach and Hagel might still be here and we're in the middle of a re-tool. |

I’m not so sure re-signing Kane would be a bad thing now that Bedard is all but a Blackhawk. He’d sure help Bedard on the ice and may be a mentor off it. |

So, you sleepallright?
Whattya wanna do?
Just let the available players fall and take what the board gives you on pick #19/20, 35, 44, 52, 58, 67, 88, and 99 or trade to climb the first round board.
I dunno why I am so bothered but it doesn't set all with me taht Detroit goes twice before e# - wiz1901
I'd like a second centerman out of the 1st round - what's the chances of Nate Danielson or Oliver Moore being available at 19/20?
Or would it require moving 19/20 plus 35 or 44 to move up enough to get one of those 2 guys? |

Not for me. I'd rather they backtrack and see if #19 would be interested in a short term 'load management' type contract where he could play 50-60 games and work with the kid on playing C at the NHL level.

I was going on the assumption Toews would retire. I would prefer to see Toews working with him as well. Barring that I think Kane would be a good idea especially with the potential on ice chemistry. |

Kane will sign next season with the Maple Loafs - he wants to play for a winner in his twilight years. |

Jakub Galvas has signed with Malmo in Sweden. He was set to be an RFA this summer.
He'd fallen down the Blackhawks' defensive depth chart substantially this past season. Unfortunate because he looked good in 2021-22. |

Palermos on 95th is always a tasty treat. Every variety. I tried to convince one of my friends who is a teacher to get a job as a pizza boy over the summer to get their sauce recipe. |

IDK, who is to say that Kane plays 70% all year as opposed to the 100% 2 weeks before the trade deadline. I do not think KD wants him back anyway. He wanted a new leadership group, all Kane would do is suck the life right out of that.
On another note, I hope Bedard likes driving a Chevy.

He can do the Chevy commercials and drive a Mercedes like Toews did. Maybe he’ll do Binnys Beverage Depo commercials? |

Me as well, Toews will be an asset to any organization, I would have no problem if the Hawks brought him back. As far as Kane, that ship has sailed. Don’t get me wrong, I loved him on the Hawks, but it was time to move on. |

What the Hawks have is loads of cap space and future draft picks - huge assets in today's league. What they don't have is much major league talent ready to play now.
So what they will probably do this summer is sign some cap dumps for more assets and also decent free agents to short term deals that can be moved at the trade deadline but can still play the game at a decent level. But there is still a place for Toews in a unique don't need to win situation. |

Sounded to me like the door was closed on #19 & #88. The comments around their departure (a new leadership group needs to form) were made knowing Bedard was a possibility, and are just as true today as when the comments were made. |

The Blackhawks haven't given any word on them taking Bedard. Although he is most likely the best in the draft, I dont think they are allowed to share who they are taking. And on top of that we can't just speculate even if being first allows us to draft him. Who knows what Davidson is going to do. |

We are all speculating even if we can have him. We don't know who the hawks are taking. Even if Bedard is the best in the draft, who knows what the hawks wanna do. Davidson is kind of doing things that many of us haven't even thought about. Teading Hagel, trading debrincat, trading dach, and trading kane for nothing. He could want to move up further in the first draft and load up on multiple players. Eventhough we have the opportunity to draft him, we can't know what Davidson is doing since he's kind of a wildcard and keeps internal communications private and away from the media getting any scent of what may be going on with the hawks. The hawks have a close knit, no sharing to the media on transactions or things they may or may not do. |
