Correct, and going on a 4 game losing streak in the playoffs is the same number of losses as a 4 game losing streak in October.
I can't believe you're defending a team that completely folded when it mattered most. No fight. No urgency. Just laid down and left with their tail between their legs. Disgraceful.

What are you talking about though? They outplayed the Blawkhawks in that game in every single metric except the score board. Sid had 3 or 4 chances he usually buries right on the door step and missed. As usual, as per pretty much the whole season besides a two month stretch, they couldn't finish off chances as a team and their goalie was subpar. In a lot of the Pens loses this year they were the better team, the team that controlled the scoring chances and 5 on 5 play...in a lot of their losses they scored 3 and 4 goals but still didn't get the W. You shouldn't lose a lot of games you get 4 goals in. Goalies sh!t the bed a lot of nights and not only that they would sh!t the bed in 3rd periods when the Pens had the lead. They had 11 loses in either the 3 on 3 OT or shootout, both of which are a crapshoot and dont even resemble real hockey. A bounce here or there, or CDS not being a total sieve in those situations, in just 4 of those 11 and they're in the playoffs.
Feds is right. 2 points in October is the same as 2 points April. Anything can happen in one game of hockey, it has a very high random variance to it. You cant just hang on the outcome of game 81...well you can, as you have, but my opinion is that there's a lot more nuance to the season and the team than "they weren't competitive".
