Although US loses to latvia in the bronze game, tsns Dave Reid made a point to mention how great cutter gauthier played. 7 goals. Just maybe we finally hit on a draft pick.

Here is the question. Are Reinbacher or Pellikka #1 NHL defensemen or just the best defensemen in this class?

I tend to believe they are not. Both should be solid top 4's but I don't think we should be using this high of a pick for one of them when the selection of 1st line future forwards potentially available.

- MBFlyerfan

I like them both, S-P a bit more, but neither are in my top 10, let alone someone I’d take at 7OA.

I think it’s pretty safe to assume that besides, Bedard and Fantilli, the following are off the board by 7:
Carlsson and Smith

Now if the Russian is there at 7, I’m calling Detroit to see what it might be worth to them to jump Washington and take him. But either way, one of the following should be available to take before I take a Dman:
Benson
Moore
Dvorsky
Barlow
Leonard
Cristall

He definitely showed his offensive game should translate to the NHL eventually. He did get beat badly two games in a row on the opponents' winning goals though. I'm sure we can mold him into a 200 ft. player though.

Yeah. Still I’ll take it. Good experience for him and he showed well vs professionals.

I think the nod goes to Delaware drivers! Every single time I see someone driving badly (slow and or just dumbass maneuvers) around here it seems inevitable that they will have a Delaware plate! It can't be my imagination!

It's so funny to me to see how many people complain about other states drivers. In this sess pot of drivers I see every day how awful these people drive, from all states. On almost a monthly basis we have several people getting shot for road rage incidents.
This city is the ultimate culmination of a-hole drivers all coagulated in one area. Imagine the worst of the worst all driving in the same city...
People doing 60 mph in the left hand lane when the speed limit is 70 mph. Imagine being behind these people day after day after day.... u totally understand the road rage. People are just a-holes nowadays. It's unfortunate

Lmao! That's awesome! I hate driving so much because of all the a$$clowns on phones, etc. I'm in burbs outside of Philly so luckily, rarely in the city or else I might need the Flik.

I'm glad to have had such a positive impact for all of the drivers who hate driving with the a-holes on the road

What ever gave you that idea?

The last time was 1975 in an 18 team league.

Might be you’re the worst driver weaving thru traffic like that. What plates do you have? πŸ˜‚

You need to leave the country to find the worst drivers. Try Italy. The craziest experience I had was with an Egyptian guy. No regard for any rules. Full out from the minute we got in the car. U-turns over the median. Actually drove on the sidewalk like in the movies. Crazy. This wasn’t a cab driver or something. This was a guy in management at the company I was doing work for. In a tie. Smiling and chatting the whole time.

I won't lie, I'm a weaver. I want ro go from point A to point B as fast as I can.
It's frustrating to have someone drive aide by side with someone who is also going 10 moh under thr speed limit for several miles.
I also have a life and a family and things to do . All they have to do is move. It's really simple. I move for anyone driving behind me who wbqta to go faster than I do. It's common courtesy, imo. Lol

We easily need center skill/depth ahead of defense. We have nothing at center. Unless we plan on trading Provorov for a young center, I think we should take a center in the draft.

Bad driving is universal throughout the world. You really can’t find good drivers anywhere. The US and Europe are bad but Asia and Africa are much worse. People routinely cut you off in the Philippines and everyone blows the horn constantly. Even Singapore with a mostly orderly and civil population has horrible drivers. Sometimes the 3 C’s help in Asian countries: concentration, control and courtesy.

But none of that works in Africa. You have to drive super aggressively to get anywhere. Everyone drives fast and I never rode in a car with seat belts there. Driving ranges from extremely stressful to complete chaos to outright terror. Most cops don’t have cars so they stand in the middle of the street and wave you over for violations. Once in a taxi my driver rear ended another car. Both drivers got out and started negotiations. Thirty minutes later my driver came back saying they settled and asking me if I could pay my fare upfront so he could pay.

I used to be an angry driver. I spent 20 years commuting. A 20 mile drive that took an hour on a good day. It sucked. I had an experience that caused me to change my attitude. I was at a busy intersection. A 4-way stop. It was a long wait to get to the front of the line. When I got there the guy at the stop to the left of me had his right turn signal on. I was going straight. It was clear for me to go so I started to move into the intersect, but the guy, with the right turn signal on, went straight thru the intersection in front of me. I slammed on the brake. We didnt crash, but he just stopped there in front of me and laid on the horn and flipped me off...his right turn signal still blinking in my face. I lost it. I slammed it into park and got out of the car cursing and pointing at his blinking turn signal. I remember clearly just wanting to kill him. He took off. I dont know if he realized at that moment his turn signal was on or he got scared or what. I got back in my car and continued on my way home. As I kept driving I calmed down and it just occurred to me that I had lost my mind. WTF was I going to do? Kill someone, or get killed, over a mistake? A minor inconvenience? I had two little kids at the time. IDK, I just decided right then that I needed to freaking calm down. The commute's going to suck. Nothing I can do to change it. People do dumb and annoying stuff. My getting pissed off isn't going to change it. It took a while (and I think getting older helps). I really worked at it. I still have to remind my self sometimes.

Dvorsky, I’m not interested in a guy with slow feet. The game moves fast, we don’t have any foot speed on this team. Save me the puck moves faster than the player.
