So it would depend on whether Scheif gets traded. If so then Lafrenierre could slide into his Center position, or Perfetti takes that spot and AL slides into 2nd line LW.
I do get your point Benny , but I think AL is going to be great in the very near future but is playing 3rd line minutes of 13 min a game in NY and not really getting to show his potential. The positive is that he has learned a better defensive game in that role . The kid is a currently a steal at under $3.5 M

Agree with above line-up with the players we currently have.
However, I'm a firm believer it's time to cut bit from Wheeler, PLD and Scheifele. As everyone knows, two of these players are gone - and one needs to go before another young addition is made to the line-up, or the three/four new players come in.
It is time to move on from the past regime's top leadership. I do believe that assistant captains Lowry and Morrissey can move on from the past and bring new vibes into the room. Their vibes! In fact, I make Lowry the captain of the ship.
Scheif wants out and I think/hope it will be done ASAP. Hellebuyck? He needs to go as soon as possible too IMO, hopefully by training camp. Still, I wonder about Bones as coach. How do the left-over players react?
