One of the Blackhawk Athletic guys pointed out that Davidson would love to luck out and finish with a lot of lotto balls and have a superstar partner for Bedsy in his buddy Mac Celebrini, implying they hawks, expecting to be further way from landing one of the high-end 2025 prospects Michael Misa & James Hagens and big Porter Martone, but, but after Mac and the wing with the big gun, Cole Eiserman, I am not sure there are high end forwards save for another centre Berkly Catton, and import Igor Chernyshov, and lightweight wing Trevor Connelly.
Let's say they finish in slot 4, I do not see them reaching, so I am not so sure Kyle is guaranteed a forward when he walks up to the mike. |

Allan plays mean like Luke Richardson? What the (frank) are you talking about? Allan isn’t a shrinking violet but to suggest he plays mean mean is ridiculous. And comparing that he is close to being as physical as Richardson was, is absurd. Ethan Del Mastro is more physical than Allan and he is nowhere close to how mean his coach played. - paulr
Paulie, is a Richardson favorite because he pays physical. |

If Ethan Del Mastro had the moves and feet that Allen, has we would be considering them equals.

And I do not believe that KK dominated in Juniors last year as some are suggesting. Perhaps he may this year if given the chance and that would be best for him. - 67hawks
What many here forget is his foot speed while carrying the puck... |

If you had comprehended what I criticized you’d have understood that Wiz hadn’t criticized the team. But I guess reading comprehension begins in Grade 8. - paulr
I am married to a retired English teacher who cringes at most I type.
I have no need of blue pill, and stubby still arises, but not sure about the truculent wording in my case.
I wrote that while peaking on half a RX gummy, a light dosed RX Indica pill and a Zanax.
And I thought it was poetic hockey word play I wrote.
I didn't mean much, but that the favorites of The NINE will get more patience and chances from the staff. |

Am I the only one that thinks Korchinski should play his 8 games as a Hawk and then go back to Jrs? I think he still needs to develop more defensive awareness and the Thunderbirds are going to worse this year giving him an opportunity to spend less time with the puck. And he would be the top defensemen for the Canadian team for the World Juniors. Thats the valuable experience he can still get to learn. In addition I want to see Isaak Phillips and perhaps Roos as well get some time as a Hawk to build some trade value because in all likelihood he will not be a part of this teams future but could bring a decent return if they show up decently this year. - akuroski
It was in my post at the end of that last blog where the debate was...

Your point was Allan played mean and physical like Richardson. Do you really believe that? |

I think I’ll just let KD and LR make the call on Korchinski, as they’ll be around him and will be able to assess his development much better than I ever will. Maybe being around pro coaching is best for his development, or maybe another year in juniors, we shall see. - Angotti
I had a similar thought. They said they will do what is best for Korchinski long term and that could mean a lot of things. I think their choices have nothing to do with winning this season. |

It's a bit relative though, playing mean that is. The game has changed a lot in the 30+ years since Richardson entered the NHL. If Luke Richardson was joining the league today as a young man, his game and style would have to adjust to the times. |

My point was Richardson liked the robust style that has shown in junior, when he is so defensive that he takes liberties and looks for hits.
Physical like Richardson would have include the fighting and Allen isn't that.
The over-all point was Richardson can like each up & comer for the strengths in their game and if they show improving coolness in the big league competition, it helps their ascensions. |

Earlier today I was outside the Tower of London looking at the Tower Bridge and see a guy with a Toews t shirt. I go over to talk and the guy is a die hard Blackhawk fan from Australia! He’s really looking forward to seeing Bedard but he’s bummed the Hawk’s didn’t re-sign Kane and Toews. |
