If lane is going to roll out the 4th line he better have a quick hook if they aren't producing. Gauthier and fasching may start out in the press box I like clutter but his body is breaking down, Martin had a good year last year - Upstate_isles
It's going to be key for the Islanders to make changes quickly this year if needed. Team cannot have a bad start and limp along.

I was happy when they got Clutter. He used to drive me nuts when he was with the Wild. But, yeah his body just can't keep up with that style of play.
I think everyone on that line is healthy and you will see them together game 1. Spoke with Casey and he said they are ready and excited to play this year.
Hope they can play their game, we need it. - nyisles7
Well you are the gm hope he's right and they are ready

Saw him a couple weeks ago waiting on the same train. Great guy and was in great shape. He said a bunch of the guys ( with families ) stayed here over the summer and worked out together.

Good to hear hoping they are similar to their prime

Imagine if he said, "I feel like crap and we're in for a loooong season."

Don't love to see Durandeau and Salo on waivers. Mostly Durandeau.
Odelius apparently had a change of plans and is going to Bridgeport instead of back to Sweden. That's good to see.

Crazy that Salo went from prized prospect who made the team out of camp last year, to losing his spot to Aho, to someone they're OK with placing on waivers just a year later.
