100% agree, over 20 years trying the same ole crap, and the end result is always the same. Meanwhile the rest of league transitioned to a speed and puck possession game, and the Flyers still play the dump and chase.

Main problem is recognizing there is an issue, but this franchise has done nothing to realize the change in the game and adjust to it.

On day 1 DB better be calling every GM and offering to use the Elis LTIR for picks and prospects. Possibly make a deal in the process for another 1st round pick this year. 3 would be nice, and we could take 2 dmen and another center. We need to get a 1`or 2 dman out of this draft and there are a few to chose from.

At some point it is a good bet that they will have more than 1 injury and its a good bet that the callups will put them over the cap without using LTIR.

would imagine. but right now we are 867,000 under the cap. carrying 14 forwards and 3 goalies. so would imagine we will have injuries, but there is some wiggle room to start before dipping into the ltir space. and hopefully DB pulls something off and opens more space.

There is always that. It seems to me that they will have around 2.6 in cap space if they send down Sandstrom, Petersen, and Tanner, while calling up Ersson.

Barring any serious injuries that should be enough. But you never know who will get hurt, and how many will get hurt.
