Doc-Sid-Rak, just do it. Wasn't someone saying Doc and Rak looked good together?

I'd be down for this. Rust might be better used spreading some talent on lower lines and DOC can just bring speed and a heavier forecheck to the first line.

Its Letang. He was flying out there. That was just a drop in the bucket for him.

Yeah, I know he's a freak...but still...he's another year older now and its a loooong season hahah...not to mention the more mins on the ice, the more chance of injury in preseason.

This is what I was hoping. Rak or rust to go to the 3rd line for offence. Zoho or Poulin as centre down the road? That would also give doc a boost. I know sully was praising Eller last night after the game quite a bit so I guess they were pretty pleased with him

On the radio, they said letang had already played 20mins @ the 2nd intermission. Didn’t watch much of the game, but yeah, seems pretty dumb

There was an error. At one point Letang was credited with a 7 minute shift.

I thought for a moment Grinder had hacked your account.

I honestly think you're onto something. If they did the unthinkable and limited his games to maybe 55-60, it may pay help him and the team in the long-run...but they won't because reasons.

That's been floated around. We got Carter during shortened COVID seasons and for a while he seemed resurgent. But during the last full one he hit a wall.

They have moved him to fourth line wing and if last night was an indication he's off the PK, so maybe that will help keep him fresh. Still a 3M fourth line wing who doesn't kill penalties isn't good when you don't even have cap space to call up a 23rd player during a short term injury.

You never see Crosby go half speed like that. It was really strange to watch. The whole team for the most part.....which is good. DOC seemed to be the only player who was working hard.

The only thing really stood out was how precise EK was with his breakout passes. Kept hitting guys in full stride. Going to be some breakaways this season.

Yea that's what I noticed, it was early in the game when he hit Geno in stride in the neutral zone, I was like damn man.
