Foligno had enough of Klostin runnin around. Really appreciate these kinda guys and the Hawks haven't had one for awhile..... And to my eye Foligno has not lost any skating, or not much. He's moving well and is riding his edges.

Going to enjoy watching him for the next 2 yrs.

When Kyle signed traded for these new vets, I wonder if any conversations were made, (especially to the SIGNED by hawks vets) about the deadline.

I have to think they may want to figure which guy makes sense to NOT deadline depart.

As I mentioned previously, I’m a fan of having three LD’s and three RD’s dressed for games. Although I’d rather have one of the young defensemen playing over Zaitsev, I just don’t want to see the young guys not succeed or lose confidence due to playing their offside, so I’m kind of torn on what is the best option for the Hawks long term, and long term should be their thought process.
