"So many bad choices by the OC. The time for excuses is over. He better get better. The “rust”, “nobody is a finished product”, “working out the kinks” excuses are OVER. This one was full of bad choices. For example running Jalen outside any time, and the 3rd and 11 run in the red zone settling for a field goal which almost lost the game. They need to get it together immediately" - THE EVIL WITHIN
They have some issues to clean up and areas to get better in but they're still 4-0. They made plays when they needed to.

So someone who over their career CONSISTENTLY scores 15-20 a year isn’t consistent? - Peter Richards

LOL, oh yea, so badly that this is the only way you can respond.
I used your own post to show that I was right. I know that just burns you. You just weren't thinking very clearly, were you and you still aren't. |

Tons of players mentioned and the guy is trying to pick on one player coming off a career year to prove his point, completely ignoring his overall game, and focusing on a scoring slump, in a league where it’s very difficult to score, on a really bad team to boot . Take a lap cliff |

You're very badly confused here. Trying to make it about something it is not. My position is that the overwhelming majority of players in the league are inconsistent. I stipulated that we can use every player you listed as being a consistent player. It proves my point. Again, simple math. Did you find your calculator yet? Minus the players you listed as being consistent from the total number of players on the team? What do we get? Then you can look at any other team you'd like.
If having a career year points to a player being consistent, why didn't you name Frost and Tippett to your list? They had career years also.
It's so much fun getting the troll brigade all lathered up. |

This is all you can do. You listed 8 players that are consistent. How many players are on a team? How am I wrong? Simple math.

You’ve done nothing to prove that the majority of the players league wide are inconsistent, the fantasy land you’ve created in your head is quite extravagant |

I saw your list. You named 8 players that were consistent. Did I have that wrong? I used your list and stipulated those names. I'm still waiting for you provide any facts or any reasonable intelligent point to illustrate that I'm not correct. As usual, the best you can come up with is rhetoric and childish name calling.

Of course I have. I used facts such as scoring data, games played. I used the list that you provided. If you think I'm wrong, show me why I am. Then we can have an adult conversation. |

You have to sift through a lot of arguments that get personal in order to find people talking actual hockey in a respectful debate kind of way. |

I try to be respectful and I'm open to anyone disagreeing with me. Provide something though other than rhetoric and name calling. The troll brigade gets all wound up. Between them, they can't make a single intelligent comment. Not trying to suck you into this. Just talking.

Good bounceback win for them. Great bounceback day for their defense. |

I am really happy to see Tuomaala doing well and clearly developing. He can skate like the wind and I really like him on the half wall on the PP. He needs another 10 lbs of muscle and a year in the AHL, and next year with Gauthier he will infuse a lot of speed and skill into this lineup. I for one an looking forward to it. |

Yes he has been. - Peter Richards
Thank you Peter! It's unfortunate that people like MJL and MBFlyerFan would rather take shots at people instead of just talking hockey and Flyers. It seems in their minds they are the hockey brains and everyone else are just trolls or don't know what they are talking about. I have been involved in New England hockey for decades, I will not get more into it than that, and yet these munchkins come on here and act like they know everything and are just threatened by people like me that constantly expose them. Its sad. I mean just look at the 100s of posts from MJL as an example, he spends hours just insulting people and arguing every single day on here, I wish I had that kind of time. No check that, I am glad I don't have that kind of time! |
