Kings up 2-0, can the Canucks catch the knights this weekend?

When I worked residential a home we were at had a phoney crawl space. They jacked it out later to avoid higher property tax.

It’s on the shady contractor who bargain with owners selling them on it usually. Booner could report the contractor if truly concerned lol

Those who say nothing fear for their job. There is lots of that going on & the contractor gets all the benefits.

Also, I doubt the company I worked for made as much money as Linden on that house. They were a small company who bought, demoed and resold for around 800k. Linden on the other hand sold that house for a fortune years later. It was a block from 1st Beach/Kits point iirc the names. That property sky rocketed.

You just did it again... I never claimed that building an illegal add on was the lie I speak of... it's like a big daisy chain... what people think I say doesn't actually come from my posts... people are reading the misunderstood quotes from other people and repeating it. It's classic group think.

Truly amazing....

You think I gave a poop? I was fresh off the streets. I'm just telling a story that I know Linden is a bit of a liar like the Canuck's owner who hired him. Selling a compromised building....

- boonerbuck

Ever heard of BC Building Corporation (BCBC)? They manage real estate for provincial and municipal governments. Based on your assessment above, they would be the biggest liars in the entire province.

Nah you’re off on a tangent on slandering TL. I suspect he left due to not allowed to do his job & the owner meddling. We’ll never know but there is one fact we all know TL won’t ever stoop low enough to talk about it & the Aquilinni’s ARE shady. Airs of legitimacy hides nothing. TL has no axe to grind.

As for contractors there are so many shady ones out there it boggles the mind. That is my point.

No tangent... no defending contractors from me... and no discussion from me on why he left or anything, connecting me to that argument is made up. I explained what was done to the house he sold is all... Bloated is the one focussing on the developers... and you have followed blindly.

Here's what has happened. You have noone to knee jerk on lately. You then try too hard... I've only made several post about this because of the responses... which you are very much a part of. The knee jerkers are on a tangent.

As far as slander goes... there is non stop slander in here by people who love rumors and speculation. What I said about Linden selling that house is not slander. It's common as hell I agree but that doesnt mean it's not dishonest.

Just saying, selling "compromised buildings" is the norm. I guarantee everyone in here who's bought or sold a house has either lied about its condition or has been lied to. Hence Caveat Emptor.

In my opinion (and only my opinion) I wouldn't classify Linden anymore of a liar then any of us, unless you can provide more examples of TL being "a liar like the Canuck's owner". Them there are strong words considering (to most) Linden is a hero and Aquaman is despised.

A few years back, I posted about meeting the late and great Gino, who mentioned how he and many of the alumni were not happy with how and why Linden left the President job. It was obvious that Aquilini didn't want to follow the direction Linden wanted to go and he had chosen to follow Benning's path
Personally, I take Gino's word over any of us twits on here, or any of the idiot media in Vancouver.

I agree about shady contractors, but not sure how the conversation went from Linden not being truthful all the time, ( Booner used an example), to shady construction practices, on a hockey chat site.
For the 1st time in over a decade, the Canucks have something positive to talk about and we start talking about shady contractors.

That isn't how to be a real fan

There doesn't have to be just one conversation. Booner and I go off on tangents all the time. So what? Just start your own conversation and ignore ours.

Or are we that big of a wreck it's hard to look away?

I always get a good laugh when you and Booner go off on a tangent, and usually stay out of it, which is why I quoted Nighty and gave him a little jab.
I usually don't give a shit what people talkabout on here as long as it isn't politics and religion.

Now don't go stretching my comment about FA... I know you can't help yourself but no need for that. I will answer to the things I have actually said.

I can confirm he has lied(and not a small one)... not speculate it. Why is that so hard to understand?

Ffs... this place is so (frank)ed up sometimes.

I think the people buying a house in a earthquake zone might like to know if the structural integrity of the house they just bought and moved their family in was compromised by the person they bought it from. That's not as much of a small lie as you think.... and was all for a wine cellar... first world problem.

Nighthawk says Linden would never stoop so low as to blah blah blah... but he certainly didn't care about his family or future owners of that house's safety if a decent earthquake hits. He was very young at the time though so I will give him that.

I never even thought much about this stuff until you guys challenged me... now it seems more (frank)ed up with every bit of dismissing you guys fire at me. Holy poop... maybe someone should blow the whistle.

I have to stand up for those of us who jibber jabber. I think we should be allowed to talk about shit on off nights. Game nights I agree, keep the conversation tight and hockey focused. BUT, on non-game nights we should be allowed to yarn and go off topic a bit.

There's not enough for people to knee jerk at is all. Once the Canucks lose a couple in a row a few of the "I told you so's" will be back and they will get the (frank) off my back.

Meanwhile, Bloated last time he was here a couple of games ago was barking about the Canuck's not being a top team at people... the last naysayer here..... Nighthawk is unwittingly siding with the people he is hunting at the moment. Bloated isn't sticking up for Canuck's... he's just stirring the pot with me is all.

Oh Booner, we ain't "challenging" you. You think TL is dishonest, some of us don't think he is and thought your example of dishonesty was humorous but lacked weight. That's all.

It's so weird that you go off like a kettle sometimes. One can watch the build up. The slightest hint of disagreement and it's ............POP!. It's so funny.

Man, you got to learn to chill out. THE WAR IS OVER.

I have been a naysayers for awhile, as I honestly didn't think this core group could play this style consistently. This is the style that wins you games, more often than not, but it is only 12 games in, so I am not ready to say that I was wrong.
If they continue ue to play like this, win or lose, I will remain positive(mostly)
Bloated and Booner discussions are almost legendary, as well as entertaining, although Moby Richard is also entertaining.
