Those who perpetuate it are no better. Gossipers are easy marks.

The single most important thing they've done is bring in the right coaching staff, from top to bottom. The players clearly have a lot of respect for these guys as they've finally bought into playing a certain way.

You can have the most talented team in the world, see Edmonton or Toronto, both good teams, but if they're not well coached it really doesn't matter. Tocchet, Foote, Yeo, Gonchar, Sedins and Ian Clark have so much experience these guys respect them. Miller being one of the best players IMO didn't have a lot of respect for Bruce Boudreau and he was never held accountable....that's changed for him and everyone else.

Because there are so many days off before and after this 3 game in 4 nights, ideally I would like to see Demko get tonight and Sundays game to prevent that 1 game in 8 day cool off. I'd like to see him remain hot but I'm not overly concerned... this coaching staff has things under control.... pushing all the right buttons. I know they plan well ahead for these things.

Rested Demko against the Leafs makes sense. Not sold DeSmith will get the Habs just yet. Tonight will decide that imo.

It’s more about game maintenance for Demko early in the season. Team is on a roll & the best time to rest him a bit. Started 9 of 12 games that’s about 60 starts on average.

I'm off to the woodpile to get tuned up for the game.

After the Sunday B2B 2 days rest to play NYI on Wednesday. Gotta believe Demko starts that game for sure.

Canucks are getting an extra day off between games a lot this early season. I don't think that's an issue. They are talking about a longer term plan than Saturday's game apparently.
