It was just a few short years ago, that the analytics crew argued that players who score 50% or mor, on the PP were playing at unsustainable rates and were going to regress etc, etc.
The like a player, it is all good, they don't like a player it is all bad.

I don't blame a player for scoring a PP point or an empty net point. It is part of the game. I would be concerned if he was 20 higher than the rest of the top point getters but he is right in line with the league leaders.

I am sure I will here about how I do t understand numbers, blah, blah, blah, yet I have followed many stats/analytics for several decades, well before they became a thing for the nerdz to pound their chests over.

I really like Zadorov. I think he can be a long term 2nd pairing solution when Cole moves on. It also helps he is the meanest player in the league . That being said, the price will be too high

I am not a numbers guy hardly at all. Some numbers of course mean something like wins losses points.

I personally don't care how long Tyler Myers has the puck on his stuck. In fact I encourage him to get rid of it the sooner the better.

For the people that enjoy using analytics then knock yourself out and whatever makes them happy. I am quite happy with how I watch hockey.
