And you'll want a full rebuild at some point this season if there is a losing streak... even if it's not a season collapsing one. - boonerbuck
You have to admit it is quite comical how the whiners flip flop in here. The next 4-5 game losing streak should be fun lol |

I still don’t think this young core has what it takes. Regardless, they signed Miller, traded for Hronek and can’t sit on the fence. All prospects and picks should be on the table now |

WKRP in Cincinnati, such a great show. Loni Anderson was nice too!!
Edit: I think they were live turkey's though, he said, "for the life of me, I thought turkey's could fly". |

As nice as it is to have the great start agreed they are a few pieces away from really competing. It's enjoyable Hockey however and Tochet appears to be holding them to account...for now. I'm sure Allvin and Rutherford will look at options if they are in a PO spot still in a few months. |

Well he deserves a good knob gobbling. Pouty needs to drive play if he wants to earn the big $$$. Right now that’s Hronek, Hughes and Miller. Stop pouting and figure it out - CanuckDon

I’m growing tired and of Mexico and can’t wait to return to America 🇺🇸 😍 - CanuckDon
The thing about this stupid comment is the feeling is probably mutual from a Mexican perspective. They're quite happy to take your money and see you go back to the US. Just keep building that wall pal, everything is good down here!

This is how I view it also, yes to be a true playoff contender a few moves are required but knee jerk comments of moving Pettersson are quite comical, but it is only a few posters with a huge bias against Pettersson.
He will get paid, he will be complained about, he will continue to be in the 100+ point range, he will still be a Canuck, and he will be on a winning team. |

Ah, thanks Ruebenkincade I just looked at his cap hit, my mistake. - Makita
The thing is, the player and the team are not bound by the qualifying offer. It's simply to retain their rights. The team and the player can agree to sign for less than the QO for more term and or movement clauses. EP40 could sign a deal, hypothetically, for 9.75 million for eight years following his current deal. I think he'd be foolish to, but he could. |

What’s pathetic is your inability to see other people’s perspectives. Can Pouty grow and mature? Of course. I’m just not willing to bet the orgs future on him until I see it. Hence the short contract. - CanuckDon
Agree & pretty bullish a 4-5yr term.
4-5/10.5m & if 11m it’s max comfortable. Petey gets paid & gets another big contract later. Canucks get a salary the cap can allocate enough to other RFA’s UFA’s for 2024-2028. |

Yeah, I admit to not being knowledgeable or conversant on the contract rules, frankly, really doesn’t interest me overall. Pettersson will get signed if he wants to remain a Canuck, and I think he does. |
