Hronek will be getting close to Hughes money, and I expected they would be getting a decent center back that they could get into the lineup in 2-3 years when Miller starts declining and needing less TOI to be effective. Raty is not going to be that player if he ever manages to make the NHL roster. So again, it's essentially Hronek and scraps for Bo + a 2nd. That's not enough considering there's no guarantee we resign Petey and if either him or Miller go down with an injury like Soucy, there goes the season. I will refrain from saying more until we know for sure if this was just clearing cap room for something else but right now we just have cap room and nothing to show for it.
