It was a small crowd to begin with as Flames don’t draw that much interest. How did the Canucks look live wearing your Zadorov jersey? |

Nice win for the boys, Pettersson with an excellent game. Couldn’t stay up and watch the third, watched it this morning. I don’t hear those footsteps K-man keeps talking about? |

I think his skates were dull. Listen closely, you’ll hear them. |

He’s falling all over while still being 6th in NHL scoring, and better than any Flame player, a lot of room to grow yet and be even better. Sorry about your loss. |

Mini…that Yzerman built team keeps winning and they’ve got some good prospects developing as well. What gives?

Sometimes you just can’t see the forest for the trees. I’m talking to a Flames fan who just lost, how do these points get lost on you? |

Luck.
Dom's latest updated standings projection has them at 90 points. Their current pace is 103. Plus they beat Mtl, really, who the hell isn't beating that team. Still hilarious that so many Canadiens fans were talking about playoffs in the pre season. |

It's still absurd that Toronto opted to make Sam Lafferty ($1.15M) a cap casualty because they needed to force Ryan Reaves ($1.35M) onto the roster.
Lafferty on-ice at 5v5:
GF: 16 (6G of his own)
GA: 7 (1.55/60)
Reaves on-ice at 5v5:
GF: 2 (1G of his own)
GA: 12 (5.64/60)
Crazy the difference in being able to play hockey and not just run around and hit people to "protect the stars and make them tougher" |

I think the organization definitely had higher expectations but then Dach went down for the season two games in and it's been all downhill since then. Slafkovsky is taking some heat but he's a big kid who's only 19, like Byfield it might take him some time to figure it out. |

Lafferty can skate and he's got size, two big assets the Canucks needed. GM Patrik Allvin is like a young Steve Yzerman GM. #genius |

I think Pettersson, who I love as a home-grown drafted player for the Canucks organization, might be the Canucks fifth best player at the moment? That Hronek kid has been so good.
1) JT Miller
2) Quinn Hughes
3) Thatcher Demko
4) Filip Hronek
5) Elias Pettersson |

Top four defensemen in scoring so far this year, Hronek is in good company!!
1 - Cale Makar 34pts +18
2 - Quinn Hughes 34pts +18
3 - Victor Hedman 25pts -2
4 - Filip Hronek 23pts +14 |

Byfield is coming now, he has the luxury of playing on a strong team. Slaf doesn't have that luxury.
If I was Kent Hughes, I'd be making moves to be competing in 2 years time. Slaf would be in the minors definitely.

They should've picked Cooley, how dumb is it to build with wingers...unless you're Jim Benning, worked wonders for him. |

Suzuki and Dach is why. As I said they weren't ready to compete and need to build more first before competing. Their fans are all over Reinbacher as well already because he is not having a very good season. |

Again, that's foolish imo, neither Suzuki or Dach were proven commodities at that time, Dach had a career high 26 point season (his 3rd season) and Suzuki one 61 point career high season (his 3rd season). It was a dumb pick. You build through the middle and with dmen. Just my opinion. That and a buck fifty will get you a cold cup of coffee.
EDIT: didn't the Canadiens trade for Dach at the 2022 draft? |
